Please be less specific. ;-)
I love them.
even decent quality ones can be a pain filling but Its worth it to me.
I suggest you not buy thr cheapest thing you find.
learn the diff betweet cartomizer and clearomizer.
Screw it man topic is too broad.
I love them.
No decreased lung capacity.
No phlem.
No stink.
Satisfies my nicotine and smoke ring habit.

Takes a while and a good few bucks getting geared up and discovering the flavors that you like.

I see people buy junk,
Get frusterated and go
Back to analog.

Good luck

I've used them for over 3 years.
Started with the original "discrete" 510s (short battery life), now use the E-Go King with Aspire cart (steel and pyrex).
The Aspire is a beast, worth every penny (all $8 of it).
I've dropped it several times, and the pressure seals come apart, but I just pick it back up, snap everything back together and it's ready to go again (after a refill, of course). I really like nicotine...and it covers that part damn well.

I've never used them with extracts, though. I see they make special adapters for herbs and hash, now.
I like the concept of the inductor coil from that other thread. That is a good idea.

I bought a really nice kit from a local smoke shop with the sincere intention of quitting smoking cigs. Problem is they also sell roll your own cigarettes for... get this... $35 a CARTON!!! Holy shit. There's no saltpeter in the paper, and it's natural tobacco, so they taste great and burn slowly. I was paying $12 per PACK here in Chicago when I discovered this place through a buddy (some buddy, right? Probably will end up killing me :)) Super hard to quit now at $3.50 a pack. The coolest part is the deal: First, you have to be referred by a current customer (who gets $20 off their next carton, as do you when you refer people after you join. This is close to my business model of how I get MJ custie referrals). You then have to call the main outlet that machine rolls them for you and give them your name and id # first, then order them to your specific shop location. Your cigs are ready in two days, and you go into the shop and pay cash, then the clerk takes you out to their vehicle and gives you your cartons from a large trash bag filled with all orders for that day. That's how it is technically legal, but it feels like a shady drug deal. I love it. I'll probably quit when they shut down the operation, but for now, WEEEEEEE!!! *cough**cough*

i ended up getting a clearomizer vape pen so i gave my e cig to my dad I hope he uses it because he really needs to quit smoking. ive been puffing on this thing every time i want a smoke and I seems to curb the habit real well. yesterday i only had three cigarettes all day. we have a local store that mixes the nicotine flavoring and glycerin to order. I like the idea that they can lower the nicotine level to whatever you want and they can make any flavor. im giving the clearomizer vape pen two thumbs up for anybody wanting to quit smoking. I could have got a cheaper one with less puff time and no lcd screen.this one cost me about $60 all together but Its worth every penny. the battery charges fast it tells me how much charge is left and how many puffs I took.

That's not a bad price if you got those extras on top. But where is this LCD screen?

its on the battery. it lights up when you push the button to ignite it. I got a case, battery ,clearomizer ,nicotine solution, charger and wall outlet adapter. they have about 30 flavors right now and can get any flavor you want. I guess they are getting some mods in this comming week so im going to be checking them out. they can burn hash.

Seems hit and miss. Guy at work who smoked 20 a day just up and bought an e cig and quit smoking then and there without an issue. On the other hand, I got given an e cig, and I found it a waste of time, didn't do anything for me other than sear my throat and leave me hacking my lungs out. The pain aside, it did absolutely nothing to satisfy my craving for a cigarette. In fact quite the opposite, was so crap I then just ended up wanting a cigarette even more because of how disappointing my "fix" was.

You can buy good one's off of ebay that have the adjustable voltage on them so you can get bigger hits from it. That is the main problem with the cheaper starter kit one's. You can get a nice one for less than $20 off of ebay. I like the e-cig and it has to be better for you than smoking regular smokes.

I started off using a cheap starter kit one that just wasn't doing it for me. I felt like I was smoking an ultra light cigarette, but I tried my buddies out and felt like I was smoking a real cig. That's when I upgraded to the adjustable voltage e-cig myself. I bought mine for $18 w/ shipping on ebay.

Not sure what dosage my one supplied, but I've tried a few, and I just cannot get the vapor in my lungs without much pain. Yet I can vao without an issue. Conversely, the gf cannot vap without my e CIG issues, but can use an e cig without an issue.

That is strange. It is possible you are allergic to the Propylene Glycol (not uncommon) used as the suspension medium. I know when I don't use my e-cig for a while (smoking my tobacco/herb mix only), the first couple hits will cause me to cough, but then after that, nada. Or do you have the same problems when using Vegetable Glycerin, too?
