Hi if there has been any good growlogs using dwc sog. flowering from a rooted clones, could you please post a link.

Ok i have a 800 32"*600 24" cupboard 400 hps
the plan is 16 rooted clones in groups of 4 using 4 seperate res two weeks apart 12/12 from day one.
1, does it matter if the roots of the four plants intertwine .
2, how big would the roots get in eight weeks considering the plant should only grow 600 24" so what size res for four plants .
cheers gong

1. It doesn't matter it the roots intertwine just as long as they have enough room.
2. Your root mass can be larger than the entire upper plant its self. I have plants in pots growing meter long roots into the bottom pot. They don't mind if you hack a bit off them once in a while though.
Are you supercropping?

Some say the minimum to be 1.5 gallons per plant from what I've read.

I believe your considerations should, "How often do I want to HAVE to check my rez to be sure the plants aren't suffocating/becoming malnourished in unbalanced nutes".

PH is essential to good grows! The further your PH is off, the slower and more unproductive your plants will be. My point (if you didn't already know), is that the larger your rez means the less you will have to monitor it.

There does become the issue of waste... If your rez is too big, you'll waste money on nutes and fuck up the environment even quicker (dumbass!). Many growers don't even think about where these nutes go when they dump em down the drain. I'm no angel, but I think everyone should be aware of our impact and hopefully "we'll" come up with a solution to lessen the damage from our "nutrient run-off". Maybe there's a Federal Nutrient Recycling Center opening in a town near you...

[That last philosophical bit proves the potency...]

Anyhow, 2 gallons minimum is what I say.
