yeah man i hear you on that. i had to take all my area rugs to the cleaners a few weeks ago and now mine spends all of his time in the tiled kitchen.

As for my children I was over watering them, then i got some nute lock and had to flush 'em out. they were looking real sad there for a few days, but a week later and they are all good and i actually just watered them yesterday. out of 6 seeds 5 were female and in the male's place i started my first DWC plant. Still a little one, but not looking bad. I
ll have to take a few pictures and throw them up here later.

damn li thats a good female/male ratio bro. i usually get the sate ratio as well.
for sure bro post some pics for i like to see them. i just love seeing mj plant pics. probably in a couple of days ill post more pics of when i lst and after a few days later to see the difference. and also ill post some pics of where i will have my next "project". I started a grandaddy purp and a ak48 (fem nirvanas only ak). but unfortunately only the ak48 craked and the gdp didnt pull thru. its all good atleast this way i only have to make sure i lst really good to get atleast ten colas and shell have more than enough room for the roots to spread. i cant wait, shes already looking very strong. i noticed the roots in that little one was huge and very thick. so it seems like i have a healthy one.........

from my past experiences mj is a hard little plant to kill. it takes alot of shit to really kill it all the way.
Truer words may have never been posted. I think some people get so overworked about their plants. Sure messing up the nutes, pH, temps, lights etc sucks and definitely slows down the grow but to get a plant to just drop dead is tough to do.

thanks for stopping by sccerfrk26...... and you are so right man about kiiling them all the way. a few years ago i had one growing one outdoors and i literally messed it up really bad, but she still kept on going and figthing. and you are right about some people getting overworked about their plants. i never ever throw or pull a plant out and kill it unless its a for sure male, and even still its pretty hard for me to kill it since its a living thing. But the females that do look bad i still hang with her all the way and normally they always come out of it and give me some good bud to toke away. thats why i tell people to never ever throw them away just to "experiment" and you will be surprised on how much "shit" they can put up with......................... later ill post some pics of right after i LST'ed over the weekend and how they look after 4 or five days (i cant remember, irony).

btw are you into soccer bro? your name sounds like you are. and if so right on bro im a big time soccer fanatic my team is Barcelona FC.

nice man quick question. you germinate right in the rockwool? i have a lowryder germinating right now and I'm not really sure when to stick it in the rockwool or if i should right away. I've had the rockwool soaking in ph'ed water for the last 24 hours.

MY plants i thought were pulling through. now they look like shit again. it's all good since its my first grow, but it is making me sad haha
Here are some pics if you guys can help me out any. they arent even dwc haha

thanks guys for the kind words..... i appreciate i a lot.....
congratulations again the joint project for the newborn, wish you and yours nothing but the best.

@jetli... first off have you taken the ph from the run off water? if not, then thats the first thing to do before anything, whatever you do dont give her not even a single drop of nutes it will only make it worse.....
what kind of soil you are using? have you added dolomite lime to it to make the ph stable. it seems like you have the famous "eagle claw". eagle claw normally happens when theres a nitrogen toxicity, in other words it was given too much nitrogen and it locked out. thats why i say no more nutes at all. test your ph from the run off water and see if it drops or changes at all. if it does then it means that the soil needs dolomite lime to be added........ but take it one step at a time, and start from the run off ph. and let me know whats the ph...

and the other ? as far as germinating goes, i normally germinate them in a cup and once i see a nice size root i put it into the ph'd rockwool. and thats it, then i normally leave the lights on for 24hrs for about three to seven days, and then i switch them to 18/6 for about a month and a week, but this time with the ak48 i will veg for a little longer since i will only be working with one this time, so ill probably veg for a month and 2 weeks maybe 3 weeks, i dont know yet since ive never grown ak48 so i have no idea on how fast she grows, but ive noticed that shes taking off really fast so ill see once i put her into the dwc container........ anyways let me know about your ph to see if thats the problem bro......

ok so i watered today with ~6.5 pH and collected some water from each. the ph for the runoff dropped about .5 to 1.5 in the plants. i did a flush about a week and a half ago with 1/4 nuted water, should i do another one with just plain water or maybe with a little of the dolomite lime to bring up the alkalinity?

yeah man definately flush again. and once you do that defniately add some dolomite lime to the soil. rule of thumb is ounce of dolimte lime per gallon of soil.
the soil is acidic but not that acidic. your ph should anywhere 6.5-7.0 is the best. and to flush use two to three times the size of your pot.. and then wait about two wekks more or less

ok so about a week ago now i flushed the plants. i didn't use any dolomite lime because i didnt have it at the time.

afterward i added some dolomite lime to the soil. I did this because they are looking at little better, but next time i water them using just water the ph will be adjusted a little more.

Thanks guys and any more help is welcome :)

glad to hear that shes pulling thru. sometimes it does take a little while for them to come out completely. when that happened to mines i foliar sprayed it once with diluted dolomite lime and she seemed to love. so now it simply a matter of time before shes better again.

on another note mines are looking really nice, the buds are getting fat by the days and the smell is so incredible. my whole place smells as soon as i open the front door. so that means im not inviting no one over due to the smell. i love walking in after a long day at work and inhale as soon as i open my door. on this one you can really smell the blueberry a lot. i will load some pics tomorrow since i will have an easy day tomorrow MLK day.

Looking good man. I seem to be having a problem germing in rock-wool as everything else recently haha. it grows its first 2 leaves then curls over and dies and im not sure why. from what i read it is from over saturated rock-wool. So i gave up for now and im just going to see these through to the end first.

Last night the pots were feeling light and dry so i watered them and took some pics. They are low ryders so i think i have about a week and a half to 2 weeks until they are done. i also planted 2 bagseed and 1 of them is still showing no signs of sex. is this normal? i planted it in September it was the first one of all of them. i will take some pics of that one plant in particular and post them soon.

That is the Absolute Best attitude you can have right now!! +rep bro. It only gets bigger and better from here, experience = knowledge and knowledge is power!!
They don't look too bad for a first grow. Learn from what you don't like and start again.
Germ in a paper towel and then toss it right in the soil, keep it simple. if it dies, try again, you'll get it.
you seem to have the right attitude, the rest will come with time....

jet li what type of nutes u using? if you will keep on growing in soil i reccomend to get jack dynamic duo and you will see how easy and better your next grow is going to be as long as your ph in soil stays stable youll be fine. but for first time not bad at all, and like the k=jointproject says you have the right atittude.

What up joint? Yeah man I have a microscope but @ 30x, it works but I want a 60x. Anyways the trichomes are cloudy with some that are already amber. So by next week and a half most of them will be amber. Can't wait. Within the next few days I will be getting flora kleen. For the past week and a half I haven't changed the water at all, all I've been doing is refill it with water and that's it. Over the weekend I will change water to regular tap water not ro water and go from there till harvest....

On a different note I like your harvest you had joint. They are looking migthy tasty.... don't forget to give a smoke report bro..... ill try to plus rep ya again if I can
