I think they have some potential. :) *knock on wood*

Day 28 of Flower.

First feeding with brown rice syrup today!!

I had to pay a little more for the organic, non GMO stuff... but I think it's going to work well.

Since I am not feeding sugars with every watering, I'll try 2tbsp for every week til the end of week 6, which has 36g of carbohydrates in 2 tbsp. 22g of maltose and glucose, the simplest of sugar molecules.

Hey there. I'm a newb so you will get better advise from others, but does Space Bomb 2 look like it has a deficiency?

I have noticed some different things here lately with the leaves.

I top dressed with more super soil a few days before the pics were taken, but I am starting to think the problem was the pH. I was using a water that started off very acidic, and adjusting it with GH pH up. The Up formula is made from potassium and I feel like I was using too much in a gallon of water.

So I switched just switched to a bottle source... costs about 2.50 per 5 gal, but it's a better pH balance at right under 7... and it's easier to work with in general.

But thanks for the concern, Subbie! This run has been a learning experience so far.

edit: I actually used some of the auto correction features in photoshop that changed the way some of the colors show, some of the Space Bomb #2 was still mostly under the 400 when i was taking these pics.

Knock on wood, my flower room has been set with no def issues thanx to super soil and a great water system. I can't say the same of my mother plants, haven't figured that out yet.

Well it seems hit and miss, but i am getting a really sweet and sour candy with notes of skunk from Space Bomb #2... i can't put my finger on it still. I'm liking it quite a bit.

Space Bomb #1 has a cherry like smell, but seems to come and go some.

Space Dawg #3 is just a sweet smell, sometimes bubblegum comes throug... Also carries a skunky undertone.

That's great to hear that the dawg is smelling on the sweeter side. I'm contemplating keeping a Timewreck male from my current op for some work with my next run of SpaceDawg. I'm closely watching your work my friend! Cheers.

Right on, I am going to do Timewreck and Ripped Bubba after these ladies...

I think at this Point, SB# 2 is the winner in the smell department, but SB#1 looks to yield more. But we'll see how it turns out in the end.

Here we are at Day 39!!

So to update you all...

I have stopped feeding any CalMag+. I haven't noticed any signs of a deficiency... realized it was killing off the biomass.

I had a bit of a pH issue that may have set me back a few days... but I believe i have got it worked out, just using plain RO water not pH'd, but at 6.5. I gave twice the water for a couple waterings, i normally would to flush out some of the extra cal mag and salts from pH up solution. The pH seems to have balanced out, and I don't see any more nute lockout going on.

I noticed around day 29 that i was getting a bit of an early fade going, so i top dressed with a keg cup full of SuperSoil on each plant. I waited a few days to see if i could see any improvement, but was still fading... So at day 33 I gave 2 more keg cups full of SS on the SD#3, SB#1 SB#2 clone. The SB#2 seed plant got one more keg cup. The extra super soil seems to be adequate, but i may have pushed it to the max on the SB#2 clone, I saw a minor burn on a couple leaf edges, while the rest only got a bit red on the tips of the leaves. If they arent fading out again by day 45 I am going to try and vacuum off the added super soil from the top of the pot to help speed up the fade.

Thank you all for the reps and likes! I am pretty stoked on how things shaped up... :D

I feel like I got the SB#1 right for the most part, as far as nutrients go. She has been fading pretty good since day 42, and should finish up in the next week. It's hands down the most resinous of the three phenos, and has the biggest tops of the group. The second shelf buds are all just nice pine cone size nugs, and oozing resin. Next round i will be lollipopping more aggressively and it should benefit this pheno greatly. Starting to see some of the dread like bracts forming on this pheno also. This one is gettin' layed over first. I think this one must be a cherry pheno.

SB #2 deserves another shot tho... She still has a bit of N left to burn through. I over corrected a bit when I top dressed these two... and had a pH issue in the beginning of flower. The smell on this girl is by far the loudest thing in the shower. It's smell is like sweet citrus with fuel and some skunk.... INSANE. It's filling out a bit now that we are later on in flower, but I feel like another run with a bit more super soil in the bottom or a lighter top dress at about 3 weeks is where i should had been. I suppose i could had gone for a compost/guano tea at about 3 weeks in with some extra nitrogen would had been the right thing to do. She is late to come with resin, which i feel is a result to poor beginnings. But she is catching up with #1.

SD #3 makes me happy that I didn't scrap her for being runty in her beginning. But i think she will need 9 weeks to finish. She is still plumping up, and has a much more supportive frame than the Space Bomb girls. I think this girl has something to offer in the yield, but the resin isn't quite there. We'll see how she plays out. It's got some sweet lemony soapy type of smell, maybe a touch of the Chem. It's been the hardest plant for me to pinpoint smells. It's RICH. The Bubblegum smell is still there too, but it's faint.

Here comes Friday for day 50!
