Thanks for the kind wishes, I have had second opinions and all that is left is to enjoy life.

how much upkeep is it to run aeroponic system? what does it cost to maintain ur system?
Upkeep is not too bad, I prune dead leaves when possible, monitor pH and PPM, and lets see... oh yeah change the reservoirs. The small reservoirs are changed once a week, the clone/veg reservoir is changed every two weeks, and the flowering system is changed every three.

Cost is low now that it is up and running. It is just the cost of the water and the nutrients really, the electricity is maybe $35 more per month now with everything.

Timers reduce energy waste too.

I am not very mobile lately so I will not be able to go to the systems to maintain them.:bigjoint:

Thanks for stopping in, stay tuned for more pictures.

The CFLs will last for a year and be changed, the HPS lamp will be changed every 3 months. The carbon scrubber needs to be emptied and refilled with activated carbon every 3 months also. I'm sure the RO filters will also fall under the 3 month schedule too.

Thanks, I noticed I had a hermie, I had tried to protect against it but oh well. I tweezed of as many bananas as I could. I'll let it go for a bit longer and it will make more bananas. I hope to stem the pollen production long enough for it to make it to flower, the trichomes are not ready just yet.

Pictures of the unfortunate hermi early harvest. Sorry I only took a picture of the top.

Total dry weight was .5 oz of herbs.

It had a ton of potential but had to come down early to save the rest of the garden.

The bananas it was forming.

I decided to air dry and jar cure one small popcorn bud and water cure the other just to test.

I leave a bit more small bud fan leaves on because it has trichomes and it protects the flower until it is time to smoke it.

The water cure did change the smoke considerably. I'm not sure yet if I will ever do it again. I just heard mention of it and figured I could give it a try. The bud shrank a bunch also as well as lost weight.

They are very healthy and showing preflowers everywhere.

A small CFL burn on the top...

Clones, this round I'm experimenting with pure aeroponic no medium cloning...

The last of the rockwool clones...
