Drying Question

I'm sure it's been asked before on here, but I don't have the time to look through all the threads. I cut down my Blue Mystic Lady yesterday. I let her so dry out real good (2-3 days in a 1 Gallon pot) till her fan/ sugareaves were dropping pretty good. My question is do I need to reduce her drying days since I did this or is it still 3-5 days? I checked her stems this morning and the bend with a little flex not a snap and her buds are feeling dry on the outside and spongy. She's drying in a kush grow box in complete darkness and the temp is a steady 70-73 degree with 30-35% humidity with air flow.

Thanks In Advance with any and all input, as this is my first ever harvest.

Seems the 62% dryness is whats wanted...but this makes the buds good for smoking in a bong not so good for us joint smokers.
If you smoke joints I find you have to take the weed out of the sanwich bag and leave it in the open air and roll it up when it will crumble between your fingers...other wise the weed will not stay lit.

Depends on the humidity in your setting. My area - 7 to 8 days.... then I begin the curing process.......
Humidity is my setting? If this means grow room where I grew her it was 35-40% or if it means where I live the humidity is W TX humidity which is dry. The humidity in my dry box is 30-35%. Sorry didn't know what you were really referring to when you said setting...:bigjoint:

wtf seriously?
setting is the area theyre being dried.
who cares what the rh is in your grow room, bathroom or in your backyard
Lol...I could say the same thing, the humidity setting answer to your question was already stated when I asked the question when my thread was posted. "She's drying in a kush grow box in complete darkness and the temp is a steady 70-73 degree with 30-35% humidity with air flow.".....:wall:...thanks for replying though....:peace:

Sorry, to go veer of subject, but I'm looking for some reasonable buds. Any insight ?

It's all I have to dry my buds in for now, as long as it works for me I'm fine with it....:finger:
who says its working for you, your cool with mediocre cannabis.. we take pride in our bud.

its not hard, and you could literally fix without spending any money

but i prefer the best buds possible

heres what you should do..should you ever feel the same

Trim wet, rh ~60%, decent airflow ~500cfm, no light, temps 65-73°f, Hopefully this takes roughly 10-14 days before outside of buds becomes dry. Do not let any part of the bud become dry. if this happens to soon; up rh, lower temp, and/or decrease air flow. If a hay or foul odor arises increase air flow..the hay is anaerobic fermentation essentially, and what happens in the inside pf a bail of hay. When drying is complete, Jar for minumum of 16hrs to get moisture back to the tips. You can now add boveda packs and or "burp" for30 minutes and give airflow to the bud. Airflow is very important to the cure but so is maintaining 55-60%rh

After 2 weeks drying and 1 week "cure" i start to sell or taste test

i burp every other day for 2 weeks then weekly for 2months... then its good to go head stash

the cure is hust as important as the grow, if yiu stop with the attitude ill gladly explain how it works and whats happening chemically... but i doubt you care. step up from brick weed right

my penny.... what you should do.

Thanks for the feedback, no attitude here. I've read all about the curing process after they've dried. I'm just concerned that I let them dry out so much in my soil (leaves were wilting) that it will speed up my drying process hanging. I don't want to over dry them. I believe when I get home this evening I'll check them again and probably start the cure process in Mason jars. I'll have my humidity meter in there so that should be the tale, tale if they're ready for the cure...
