If you are getting all the trichs the yeild should be the same, it's all about ease and preference i guess. I just like the water method 'cos it's just water. But yeah if you don't have trichs on your material then you won't get anything

Best method (used by the original inventor, me) is to use a 110 mesh silk screen frame from your local tshirt print shop.

Make sure dry ice is well crushed.

Use FRESH trim. Dry stuff doesn't work well. If you are going to be trimming for days, then keep your trim stored in the freezer until use.

Best device is a 110 mesh silk screen available from your local Tshirt printers shop for a few bucks. Stretched nice and tight.

After Dry Ice process, dry material and extract with ISO, butane etc.

im not so much for the oils man, i love my pressed hash. also, i looked at the screen under a 60x microscope and i could see trichomes in the holes of the screen, with plenty of space to fall through. so i'm just thinking its lack of trichomes on the material. even though the buds have SOME trichs on them, i would think theres plenty on there but obviously not. :(

why fresh trim? what makes you think you're the first to invent dry ice hash? lol just sounds crazy

When I run bubble, the 73 retains almost all the trichomes. Boedhaspeaks gave sound advice. Typically, a 220-micron screen is used. The 110-mesh screen Kervork mentioned has a very similar pore size. You knocked your trichomes loose (and also pulverized a lot of plant material ... the downfall of the dry ice method imo) but they hung on that too-small screen. cn

fail tech youtube tutorial to blame again.

the best trichome heads are between 73 and 120. You are missing out big time. most dry screen is 120 or 160 and under.
