well if u think half str nutes are in order, then im leaving it the way i have it bc thats exactly what i just did last night was add 1/2 dose of nutes, then ill not even bother flushing unless i see more problems seeing as how i just used the last of my nutes in doing this.

Because I used over fertilized soil and the same thing happened but I quickly transplanted in to nuteless soil and it fixed the problem asap, and I'm not completely sure it just looks that way. Plus the fan leaves absorb unwanted nutes.. My plant has nute defficiencies and it doesn't do that either. I'll take a picture later of some of my leaves to show you the burns I got from soil - and the burns I got from hydro. They're a lot different

okay, so i just got off work and they still seem pretty perky, but the on seems like its fan leaves are getting worse...its been exposed to the half str nutes for about 24 hours now, so im considering flushing them out and letting them sit in distilled water for about another week. by then, i should be nearly ready to flower, maybe another week after that, so i think after this week ill start with low dose bloom nutes. does this sound like a good idea, or am i just spewing a bunch of pointless shit out of my mouth?

bah, well then let me ask you this...in two weeks and 3 days, my plant grew to 6 inches. ive heard that using soil takes alot longer to grow, so thats y i choose to go with the dwc method, but its turning out to be more trouble that its worth...

One sec, I hope you don't care if I post them in here - I'll delete them after you see 'em if you do mind.

Nute burn from Miracle Grow African Violet liquid plant food 7-7-7 (this is a ghettoponics setup, the nutes have to be ghetto too - 3-4 drops for every 2 cups water the plant drinks - 6-7 drops every complete rez change which is 5.5 cups)

Nute burn from the old soil I had them in. These leaves are the smallest fan leaves on the plant

I swear I had some spots like you're having, I'll find them eventually. It's 7am and I just ate four toaster strudels and I'm tired lol. Tell me if your problem started like this sir, I really think it's because the nutes your adding. Then again, my leaves aren't curling complelety up

i just started my flush last night, looking at them this morning, all of the top growths look good, but some are starting to get the brown burn spots. also, the bottom fan leaves look like it literally has necrosis starting fron the tips and slowly working its way inward. like each leaf is dying a little bit at a time...and now im out of my GH maxi grow, so i gotta find a quick alternitave, so ill be going down to the local farm supply store today. theres another thread where the guy had basically the same problem as me that i commented on where he goes into a bit more detail about thing, but in essence its the same problem. my question is this, did ur plants that looked somewhat like mine get any better, or survive at least?

quite stressing man give them time nutes and water and they will survive i have saved plants from much worse than what im seeing here your plants will survive and will grow just fine
