I did only because the trait of Dr.Grinspoon showed itself by accident. I had never seen a plant that was so thin and beady looking but the buzz was great and I would def grow again. Not a big yielder but great high.
Hi 420 dust with all due respect can I ask you where the seeds came from .
or did you grow the original clones because if so then we know each other.
Best regards

. Hi I was just checking out some sativas and came across Dr. Grinspoon. It looks like a very interesting plant. Has anyone grown it? Any info would be great.

Also...what a good Thai to try?

Hi nuikala yes I grow the Doktor and I can tell everybody on all the marihuana forums and seed companies out there that there are no seeds from the Doktor .
I can make some for people who are really interested .
very often I read people grow the Doktor and have poor growing no yield Take long time .
why people think I'am growing it now for about 5 years already I must be really stupid to grow this stuff .
anyway indoors its a good yielder if you know what your doing but thats with all marihuana plants .
outdoor i don't know doesn't have the right climate in the dam except maybe in the summertime for autoflowers .
its not so difficult to grow marihuana if you know what to do
best growing wishes to all growers

How much does Barney's pay you per post? Like 50c everytime you go to a site to defend their crappy, highly marketed products?

I will never grow Barney's Farm again. Sure you can get a good pheno of a strain once in a blue moon, but the hell with that, there are so many breeders that blow BF out of the water, they are nothing but a waste of my grow space.

Yes there are so many good breeders and growers they know there stuff you right althor .
thats why you do your homework first look for the breeders and people who are growing this stuff and not for the coffeeshops who are only selling seeds and make big money from the growers and breeders thats what we call the backdoor in the 'Dam.
coffeeshops can not grow any marihuana because they lose there license if get arrested .
And for all those different kinds of grass they have on there menu's they need alot of growing spaces to make the grass and the seeds think about it
best growing wishes to all growers

grew a pack.. wayyyy to long of a flower time .. to make it worth it.. unless your growing strictly to smoke it yourself.... we had a horrible yield.. and it was like it looks.. really beady tiny little calyxs on a stem.. no nugs really.

the thing I will say is.. if u like bud with no ceiling.. were if u keep smoking.. u keep getting higher and higher.. this bud had that going for it ..

but because its so stemmy.. it dries sooooo fast.. that I couldn't get the terpene profile to come back out.. it smelled good in flower.. but after drying so fast it was really hay smelling..

and 2 of the phenos.. went over 18 weeks in flower to get cloudy trichs.. but was weird.. really.. upper nugs..

I ended up using it with my morning coffee .. if I smoked too much I would get anxiety an shit it was really weird..

but ya.. BARNEYS SUCKS COCK.. the only strain Ive been happy with from them.. was Violator Kush..

but i got a clone from a friend.. so i have no clue how many seeds he popped to get a keeper.

I can't recall where the seeds came from, perhaps Nirvana. I thought I was growing some type of hybrid when it showed up. I had never seen anything like it. Its a great strain for up heady buzz..

From World of Seeds I have grown Afghan Kush (don't like the taste/smell of Afghan bud but buzz was really good), Wild Thailand ( smooth sativa smoke, not bad but not so great as to warrant the difficulty growing), Ketama (wood smell that I didn't like), and I have a South African Kwazulu around 7wks in flower as we speak.
Althor what did that SA Kwazulu turn out like?

This is the story how it happend only from one seed . Thank you Coolkid02
about 5 years ago i started this to
Grow .
first it was shit but after a few crops it became better .
so I went first to the bear and the Jer they smoked it and where flabergasted by the smell and taste .
we went to barney and he didnt like the name Quaze so he called it Dr.Grinspoon .
and made it pretty famous so I must say .
then we made some feminized seeds out of it but that time nobody was interested..
I have to say that there where some bad crops in this 5 years from growers they dont know how to grow the Doktor .
:-?
Had some beautiful crops too .
buy the way the seeds barneys and all this seed companies are selling for Dr.Grinspoon is not the real deal.
and the photos they are using I made them for my self .one day barney asked me for photos to put It in high times magazine I said ok i liked it .
not knowing that he use it for selling seeds
anyway up to barney if he sell not the real Doktor seeds .
best regards to all smokers :joint:
5 years ago? I could of sworn I've seen grinspoon pictures for like 10 years now. In Ed's book of buds and in seed catalogs, well before 2009.

I've not grown it, but I have smoked it. I think the yield and peculiar growth pattern puts people off. But... oh boy! On route to work... a place of misery after wake n bake with the good Dr... I was smiling from ear to ear.. thinking to myself.. what the f#ck are you smiling about! Lmao. Its v nice cerebral uplifting buzz. I recommend ya give it a go at least once to see if you find it worth it. Best Sativa I've tried. I like a strong haze to give you an idea of my usual tipple. Hope to have helped. 10/10 for Grinspoons happy days.
