Doing it ...super soil for autos

did u add in calcium and other trace minerals they like .......becare with the open air method ...bugs will make home in that with all the food getting broken down (they are no biggie until resins form and they get stuck )

side note your area looks to have a high amount of sand or crushed rock
It's good in calcium. I got a soil test at the beginning of the year. It's pretty much sand, pines and oaks. With a screen I can get super old leaf mould from around the tree bases. I'm working on getting a few grassy swales in to prevent erosion. But back on point.... The soil is really sandy so I add equal parts peat moss or leaf mould.
The food scraps are going to be my source for trace elements. The soil covering it upwith something on top does the ticket in my area. I invite bugs because theyll produce low ppm nitrogen as feces. Theres enoigh nutes for a large fruit tree. I'm more worried about animals digging. If you ferment it properly, you could even use an animal carcass. That'd be great for everything a plant needs!

But yea, I haven't considered the bugs getting stuck like fly paper... I'll have a companion plant strategy for fruit flies by the time I need to worry.

well all my work has been done with forest type of soil .......i never worked with sand in my grows

i would honestly tell u to invest in some bags of soil to use .......or even call up someone for a load of top soil

u should order some roots elements to add to the soil for the trace elements

This is some of my soil. I'm fermenting it to get a colony of lactobacillus acidophiles spread throughout (the white colonies). This too could be a finisher because of the bacteria network. A young plant (like, under a foot) would likely get burned from this type of soil. The nutrients are all there it just looks different than contemporary gardening. This type is design for 3rd world countries and sustainable agriculture. I add trace elements when I use my aerobic compost instead of fermented kitchen garbage. Aerobic compost is not as strong.
Anyway my beds have great soil but the surrounding area is pure sand. I ammend them with compost amd peat after every crop. I may add some mulch compost to bukl it up but I'd risk acidifying and termites. I spend almost no money. For instance I have 6 pails of bokashi that I make for about $7. I sprinkle it into layers of scraps and I can make nutrient specific ferts too. I took banana peels ( or any high K peel/fruit) and mixed them with bokashi to get a soil amendment. It wouldn't work as a topical or granual feed in this instance but mixed in place of some of the compost.

https://www.planetnatural.com/composter-connection/indoor-composting/bokashi-composting/ here's a little info about what I'm using. I don't buy the stuff, that'd be retarded
\i am not sure about that stuff .....i know a family that has done it but i seen the compost pile it does not get smaller and stinks so bad they use a field across the street from them for it ....the variables it adds is not worth it to me ....i rather build the soil from natural chemicals so i know they have what they need .....from this round i know i am close to the right stuff (growth came out great..stalk is thick and pumping water ).....i just need to account for the K i am missing in the soil the new feed should do that with 0-0-22

but yours the sand is what has me worried as it has nothing for the plants to use except silica maybe some calcium if there are crushed seashells ........u have no base soil with any NPK power your adding in with composting (that is a sheer variable on it self u can not be sure what the ratings is ) ........if u had a pile of yard trimmings and clippings leaves and all that might be something but food with all it other additives ....to many variables even for me to account for ....i need a mass spec to check the readings

ok shutting up said my peace ......just i did not want to be at fault if this goes off the tracks (got enough guilt)

Also idk where to look for any roots.products. any tips?
Rapid Start .......love this stuff best rooting i have found so far with in 3 years of trying different feed

that's an auto? super auto? a lot of stretch for an auto, how many days are ya looking at from seed to harvest?
the first pic
narcotic kush day 55 since planted 4 days to sprout 39 days in veggie 12 days into flowering .....the soil is off not right missing something for this strain

the 2nd pic
nacrotherapy 55 days since planted 4 days to sprout 42 days in veggie 9 days in flowering ......going perfect

the planters are 6 and half gallons of post 1 ....post 3 breaks it down
narcotherapy is one of main stable plants 20% thc 1.4% cbds
last one ran 9 days sprout 32 days veggie 70 days flower ..........experimental feed .....i will get the total weight of what it made me in a day or 3(drying now before jarring) .....if u want i will tell u what it gives me i am excepting 5-6 oz of some tight shit ....i need to work on the oils but i got something for that this round

i figured out auto flowers it is about what amount of feed it is offered plus the str of the light and amount of water ........i made something that got 6.8 grams of oil off 25 grams .....i need to combine those 2 feed and watering and lighting ....what i am working on

sunday night keeping up with my updates

IMG_20150830_224140433[1].jpg
had to tie the branches to stalk they were flopping out ......it looks like it is finishing resins are getting on the fan leaves (actually growing glands)....i think i am cutting it down some time in the next 7-10 days ......the soil works but it made a monster that wanted more then i could feed it (main lining it might be the answer will have to look into that one)

IMG_20150830_224148003[1].jpg
this one is doing great some of the lower leaves had to come out do to low light but other then that love the plant ......it is mid flowering guessing 3 weeks more (only side not the amount of room the plant grow to fit with the other 2 i got in there so will look funny when i remove that monster of a plant )

i am running different mix ratios of the super soil and promix now they are the next rounds coming up

i took down the stinky pot plant
4 oz 13 grams total......thc is 17.49%
total time on the plant is 80 days (4 sprout 39 veggie 37 flower )

the other plant is still going i am giving a heavier dose of sugars and resin builders .......odds i will take it down in 5 days or so

I forgot to keep up with your progress. Yea that sandy soil you saw was a raised bed that is pretty spent. It was a for instance of technique. My potting soil is great and fluffy, lots of peat or leaf mould and vermicastings. As for you friend or whoevers compost, that sucks. Mines smoldering with heat every week when I turn it and lots of white molds are growing. It fruits mushrooms in the rain haha. Iv made some nasty fucking compost with lots of death and blood. Great stuff.
Here's some the results of my grow super soil grow, i ended up regularly adding fermented liquid extracts and molasses lolKIMG0712.jpgKIMG0711.jpg KIMG0714.jpg

this is the Narcotic Kush
IMG_20150929_131400567[1].jpg

4 oz 13 grams 17.49% thc

the narcotherapy is still 2 days away from being dry
guessing on 4/5 oz from it .....i tweaked the feed in the end trying to push the THC lvl up (finally got a piece of gear that can give me hard data on my lvls so i can fine tweak the feed plans )

i figured out the issue with the plant combine the super soil with feed it made a monster wanting more then i was able to give it ....hell doubling the feed just kept the red vein from getting worst

so supersoil is not ideal for autos as far as what we can tell from your experiment with it? or was it something else?
