Does Marijuana Cause Cancer?

I wouldn't think it caused cancer anymore than your cell phone,power lines,dishnetwork/direct tv satelites,wifi routers,arsenic in the wood your home is made of, or watching corporate news networks.
All these things concern me more than my lil joint..... then again even if we found out it does would any of the tokers quit. I would hope not cause the whole world would be very cranky. Who needs that in the world we live in today.

If you have nothing better to do than complain about what post belongs on what internet forum, you should re-evaluate your life priorities... Of course this thread belongs on this forum. It related to every single one of us just as much as growing marijuana does. Whether or not it causes cancer, I don't know. But I do know that it can't be good for ya! Also, just because it doesn't cause lung cancer doesn't mean it doesn't cause cancer at all. But, like someone said earlier, hardly anyone smokes enough of it to be concerned and if you're smoking that much per day you obviously have enough problems to worry about. haha.

But, above all. Lack of oxygen in your blood will cause cancer. If you lead an ordinary healthy life you can smoke as much pot as you like. So long as you know you're ok, you'll be fine.

Smoking MJ is not the best delivery method. Smoking anything ( including MJ ) can give you cancer. The plant itself of course will probably not. But seriously, smoking is not good for you- for many reasons. We all know this and still choose to smoke - for medicinal purposes or just recreational. Either way, SMOKING is not good for you.

Vapes can help cut the risk. You can cook with it. There are other options if yo uare concerned about the hazzards of smoking.

MJ behaves as an expectorant, it has the opposite effect on the lungs to tobacco. Thus the mine dust is coughed out, and the lungs are cleared.

Westerners have an inate fear of coughing, a legacy left over from the days of the black plague.

The worst symptom of cancer is loss of appetite, thus the body cannot refuel itself to fight the disease as it has no nutrition to do so. By causing the munchies, MJ allows the natural healing process to take place.

Thus it cures cancer. To refute this you would have to refute either
a) mj causes munchies, or
b) cancer causes loss of appetite.

Wow man. You need to smoke one and rethink your side of the arguement. There is more to this than dialation or constriction. There is the tar and all the other crap that gets into your lungs and builds up over time. There is the fact that when you inhale pot, or ciggs, or anything else, that you are replacing oxygen in your blood for other more harmful things. There are many, many ways which smoking ANYTHING hurts us and causes long term illnesses for some.

Let's not fool ourselves. There are many things that are part of a " healthful lifestyle". Smoking ( of ANYTHING ) is not on that list. I just don't see how you could possibly argue that. Anyhow, I have things to do.
