I'm trying to find the rare ones who find it important to get closer to god every day through his word. This is not meant for atheists, agnostics, or any kind of "christian" who doesn't spend time in the word every day. If you don't find a relationship with the TRUE GOD OF THE BIBLE important every day, then you won't understand the spiritual matters in this part of the forum, so please PISS OFF!

Let's talk about the resurrection, righteousness, salvation, spiritual warfare, and other topics that only those who have a true relationship with god will have studied extensively and want to share with others to make us all better students of His Word.

I'll start it off: Let's check out the Kingdom of Heaven, the message Jesus brought and all the apostles after him. Why do so many christians believe that we are going to heaven when the bible clearly teaches that heaven is to be on earth. Jesus is to return to earth to usher in a 1,000 year reign while Satan is locked up in "the abyss", and those who found it important what he did and how much his father gave us will become kings and priests as part of the first resurrection into spiritual bodies.

Some one keep this going here, let's glorify god together.

The pen of a ready writer, this signifies to me the Father when he speaks, it is like a mighty river which can not possibly be held back, my thoughts flow with such grace. One thing I can not agree with is that the kingdom within is of your imagination, stop your imagining and just open your eyes, behold the kingdom both within and without (Space, Eternity). In the end when they are speaking of the far away land it sounds a lot like our Earth, only death is present here. "in the midst of life we are surrounded by death" the Torah.

If you had a true relationship with God you would be open to every being on this Earth. Please give me a quote from the bible and tell me what it means to you, that will give me a better idea of where you're coming from. Just cause you read the bible and say you are close to God doesn't mean it is true.

"When I was a child I spoke as a child, but when i became an adult I could use adult language." Corinthians
...I think this is probably the one you are trying to quote...and totally take out of context:hump:
1Co 13:11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. come on riddle show us your god...that which makes live and makes die

I take it you are pretty well-versed in the bible. Can you give me a few of your favorite quotes and tell me what they mean to you. If you can find the time I would be very interested.

wow, you're up to two verses. And even talking about context. How about you focusing on what the original topic was that i started in the very first post instead of trying to finger point at me about stupid shit (oh no, someone said a bad word! who decides which words are bad?).

Just because you serve god doesn't mean you are supposed to try to act how you think christ would act. If I were supposed to be christ, then what would we need jesus for? He was the spokesman of god, that's not my job. You probably don't even know what your job for god is. You probably don't understand the message Jesus brought. If you did, you wouldn't be worrying about what words i use.
