Do You Play Disc Golf?

frisbees piss me off.. They are too gd tricky to throw perfectly and most of the time they seem to lean and go to the left or right no matter how I throw them.. I can get into a groove and throw them really well after a little while, but there too damn hard to throw perfectly on a consistant basis to me .. :angry:
I never tried frisbee golf but I love reg golf.. I have seen frisbee golf being played at several parks and it seems most of the ppl that play are "hippies" lol.

oh snap!@!@! you can't compare a regular frisbee with a Disc. frisbee's are flimsy pieces or crap. but a Disc for Disc golf are made completely different you try to play catch with one of tho's your going to break someone hand. i can roughly throw mine consistantly between 340 and 375 ft.

When my wife was pregnant, we would play like twice a day!

And before she was, a group of us (stoners) would head out, play a few holes and toke.

Stoner sport for sure man. Woooot.

damn where do you live that it's so popular. hell it's quite popular here in oklahoma. except half of my favorite course is closed because of a ice storm fucked up oklahoma a year ago. thats when the U.S had the biggest blackout in history.

HAHAHA Frolf (Frisbee Golf). I love that shit. I haven't played that since I was 18 and me and my buddies were all stoned in the backyard.

YES! I play disc golf every day of my life! I played 2 rounds today!

There's only one course within an hour's drive of my town, so I play it all the time. It's pretty nice though. I shot -7 today...tied my career high at this course.

I've also thrown 3 hole-in-one's...two in the last 3 weeks!

I have lived all over and it definitely has it's hot spots. Some places have nice courses and the locals dont even know what disc golf is.

I usually go with two of my buddies and my dog. Pack up my old backpack with cold beers (who ever shanks it carries the beer), bring some j's, and fuck around for a couple of hours. We don't keep score but we make some good side bets.

My dog has her own super long distance driver that we rocket and she retrieves (for the first several holes until she gets tired). If we lose one in the woods we'll send her in to find it. It takes her forever but she ALWAYS finds the lost discs even some that other people lose.

It is one of the most relaxing ways to waste a sunny afternoon. And the fact that it is free doesnt hurt.

i use to play.you can use just 1 to play or use different discs just like in ball golf. you have different discs like clubs.we have 2 corses here in town. its great go play 18 holes smoke a couple of joints. great day. i have even been to the ice bowl. play in the winter in the snow and cold. it was - 20 1 year. had a crazy guy playing in shorts. made front page of local paper. the other big event every year is the world's biggest. google events in your state. might find a few corses near you.

you lucky bastard. i've been wanting to go play but it's been raining for the past weak on and off. so never dry enough to play. hell i'm surprised my plants didn't get mold. thank god.) but harvested one today cuz weather was way to bad, but my plant was way to big to cover. it only had 3 days left till harvest.... you think that would have hurt me in the long run?

yeah i go play with a few to a bunch or ppl. somtime's we do team DS. makes it funner also. and we bring our pitbull with us and just let him.

hell that would be my out their playing in short's in the snow. thats what i do here. and i know about the putters and approach disc's hell i have 40 different disc's. and the funny thing is i only baught 1. :mrgreen:

A little rain/snow/cold/wind never really deters me and my friends. We've been caught in torrential downpours once or twice and had to leave, but otherwise we'll play through anything.

My disc du jour is a Champion Wraith I found about 2 years ago. I've got 4 discs I throw every round, and about 10 that never even make it into my bag.

Regarding your plant...do you ever give it a little "shake" to get the standing water off? Probably wouldn't hurt...
