Do you guys think it's necessary to be intimidating or be able to fight if you sell?

It depends on who you're selling to. If its for friends and friends of friends, no. If you're the friendly suburban highschool pot dealer, kinda. If you're a crack dealer in detroit, yes.

I don't think its absolutely necessary unless you have shady customers or youre the corner dealer type who sees new people everyday.

If you're worried about fighting you may want to look into new clientele.

However being able to defend yourself isnt a bad thing to learn. They say for noobs trying to defend themselves theres certain moves you should know right away....like a throat chop/bunch (it'll make them feel like they cant breathe long enough for you to get out of there)

Another they say is to cup your hands and smack both ears inward at the same time...it has a disorienting type of effect also intended to give you time to gtfo.

If you wanna throw a punch the best place to land it on the tip of the chin...a glancing type of hook (punch hooking to the right with ur left hand.....or the opposite if you use ur righr hand).

If you can hit them in the right spot...night night.

But its still best to deal only with chill honest people when possible

And btw it's better to be able to fight over being intimidating....if you're intimidating someone may call you on your bluff which is where fighting cones into play.

Some of the responses here are laughable .

If your gonna sell needing fighting skills is the last thing you need , most important is the ability to use your brain , i know alot of young growers who sell & most dont understand that all money isnt good money , they sell grams , eights , quarters halfs & zips , mainly to morons who drive around smoking & going out partying while holding their shit . most of their customers will drop a dime on them after getting pulled over holding an eigth & snitch to avoid a charge .

If you want to be successfull you supply morons who sling bags , take cash at pick up & never give a front , not even to somebody you know 20 yrs , dicks who owe you cash will snitch you out quick just to get you off their ass & kicking somebody's ass over some weed creates an enemy , enemys lead to drama & cops .

Stick with large cash sales & stay away from anybody you cant trust in your home & you wont need to fight , tough guy gram slingers never last .

Where I'm from theres definitely bot safety in numbers. If someone wants it you better believe they will try to take it.

Fighting, guns, or intimidation are completely unnecessary. What it tajes for longevity in both illegal and legal enterptises is savvy.

Out of sight, out of mind. Good luck :)

Depends on who your clientele are. If you deal with thugs, you might want to be a bad ass. If you deal with mostly professional people ( lawyers, doctors, dentists, bankster) then it might behoove you to be able to hang with the crowd. Pros pay more and it doesn't bother them at all.

This is true but in my experience it is beneficial to be ready to stomp a fool. Once someone gets over on you, all of the vultures will be swarming you. If you stomp one person, everyone will know about it, and it will save you many future problems.

Completely depends on your situation as many have said...back when I was young and it was just the blackmarket it helped to be a tad intimidating if you wanted to get your money for something that was fronted and lost...but in the whole of things I dont believe you need to be in any way again largely dependent on your clients. Now days I never have to be intimidating or ugly in any way and I dont want to be anymore even if I do get screwed a little here and a tad there..

When I get screwed everything buddy owns and everything buddies family members have become targets. After they get there sh*t destroyed over and over again they are soon to come to make amends...if I'll accept their apology.
In todays Canada you'll find that the majority of people prefer chemicals over weed and they'll quikly rat you out if they think thay can score crime stopper money to get their next fix.
I spent eight years in toronto not to find one person that i would be freinds with. Here in the Canadian Rockies I have lots of freinds.
The last time needle users tried to rob me I knocked one of 'em out and booted three more of 'em in the nuts til they couldn't move anymore. Then I destroyed their bicycles.

Lol. this is fucking retarded. We're talking about weed here folks...stop trying to be a fucking "gangster".
be fair and deal with reasonable people.
do you think its worth getting into a beef over an ounce? It's only a couple hundred dollars.
even if its a pound it's not worth getting hurt or having to hurt someone else over such a trivial amount of money.

not really. Even though I do things by GA guidelines, I still fear law enforcement. Also, rippers are dime a dozen. So not really paranoid, definitely cautious since this is my life on the line. If you should be paranoid about one thing, that should be it.

In CA if the cop wants to be a dick he can book me on an OZ for a felony and I would later have to bring paperwork to court. This is why I say cap it. Anything under 28g is a misdemeanor ticket and I wouldn't have to sit in a jail cell waiting to see the judge. Make sense?

As far as my paranoia and being armed..I'm a war vet, I'm always armed. I've been robbed, so have other family members. I've been surrounded by gang bangers upon a delivery. The list goes on. I speak from experience and was trying to give a guy a couple points so he can steer clear of these unnecessary events.

we run a business here, and security is the number one concern when running a collective.

Not sure where you are from, but you might wanna reconsider before flaming. I live in LA and things get a bit real here, at the same time we chose to pursue this and have to make a living so open advertising is a must to reach potential clients.

Choosing your clientele when nickel and diming is EASY, sorting through a few hundred clients is no easy task and definitely takes planning if such events were to go down. Being in DELIVERY business makes you more of a target then a brick and mortar location which most likely has armed security. So fuck yes I carry a 45 and Im waiting on my ripper. MOLON LABE
I hear you; but holding a piece when delivering an OZ seems a little over the top, would you really use your piece over an OZ :wall:

I think security would not be the number one concern when running a collective , but that's just me! Also a collective that delivers where gang bangers are surrounded, I would hate to live there.

regards and safe deliveries,
