I'm not scared of dying. Why live life in fear of something you can't control? I can tell you one thing, I sure as shit don't believe in an afterlife. So, I'm gonna do everything I want to right here.

yes

plus i feel like when i die ill be so fucking old i wont give a fuck anymore or ill be confused and not know whats going on

hopefully by then i could afford cryogenic freezing and come back after like 300 years

but ik one thing before i do hit the dirt i want to go off either drunk or high as fuck

No fear of "death" here either. After all, It's only an energy transference from physical to etheral form. The spirit is immortal, yet many people still have fear. One day they will all learn ;)

I fear dying, lonely, without the love of my family. My mum left my dad 30 yrs ago, in anger he burned our house down, injuring an elderly neighbour. After serving 8yrs he came out and struggled to rebuild his life. 6yrs ago (whilst I was serving my life sentence) he was found dead in the stairwell of a pokey bedsit he'd been there for weeks. He never even knew how much he was loved.
Cheer up bro, your dad is aware of your good intentions now, I promise

I'm cool my mate. Just trying to be honest about my fears. To fear what happens to my essence AFTER death would be pointless. I am well read, so I pretty much understand common belief possibilities for my spirit. We could all be waiting for our correct vibrational tone to move on.... But... Don't you think its strange ' transcendental' theories for our death are a relatively new speak, parroted by an increasing number of persons? I think all religious belief for our afterlife's are given to us, to give us hope. after breaking our bones working to survive in a world with so much unnecessary shit, we are given these hopes that there is a better ending? I don't know to be honest.

Reddan81, I am also well-read on the subject and in my opinion you are right in everything you've said here. We are indeed, "vibrational" energy and our spirit is immortal. We are here to learn lessons, and work through Karma incurred in past lives. We, (as souls) reportedly even hang out in "vibrational clusters" ie. with other souls on our same frequency, after Physical Death. I think we, as a planetary consciousness, are finally starting to understand. I am a (recovering) Catholic, and the religious oppression is there, undeniably. However, I think we are on the brink of a major shift in consciousness: The existence of extraterrestrials, as well as the acceptance of our immortal (and beautiful!) spirit. Once both are common knowledge on a global-scale, we will become a truly enlightened species, capable of Anything

One day, you will stare oblivion in the face and cease to exist.

Does that scare you?

Why/why not?
I do not fear death infact i welcome it ...........to me death is the one thing in the universe that is 100% fair everything dies at some point (rich poor strong weak mighty powerless it does not matter it comes to all kings and fools )

more in heaven and hell then dreamt of by man .......and boy can i dream i really want to see what is on the other side of this

and by the way the soul is that little bit of energy in the head bouncing around .........energy can not be destroyed only converted combine that fact with the idea of string theory that everything we see Vibrates at a set lvl ....so u kick the bucket the body can not hold the energy anymore the energy passes out the body and combines with the universes bam heaven or hell

i spent countless hours on this ? and debate with others ............it all falls back to trying to explain everything
just for debating sake say the bible stories and torah and Koran have something to them if u look at them with the right mindset

the first part on how the a word was spoken ....vibrations .......everything we see and understand as real is vibrating on a set note/freq
http://bigthink.com/videos/the-universe-is-a-symphony-of-vibrating-strings-2

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Om
this is what ppl in the past thought it was .........the idea is very very very old so given this if there was nothing to the idea or thought it would have died off like the idea the world is flat ....given the current lvl of tech these ideas can be put to the test and nothing has come out to dispute the idea in fact the are going with the idea doing more work on it to prove it string

i don't and actually i'm convinced there is something multi-dimensional.

i embalm people and it's quite liberating.
as far as i gotten i know there are 9 lvls ......this is the start then it 2 paths to the same place in the end .........but the rules are fairly final so We all get one trip around this crazy universe so make it worth the effort

to be honest that is a deep question ... hmmm am i afraid of death... honestly i have to decline ... idk why but i'm not ..
i live by two mottos...
..." make the rest of your live the best of your live"...
and
...."today it's the first day of the rest of ur life , live it like it's ur last"...
after all life is combined from all those little moments that counts...
that is why i try to live my life to the fullest ....
what i am afraid is not death itself but my legacy ... some of u my say that this is stupid but yea i'm afraid of that ...
questions popping in my head ... what i would left behind so people will remember me..
how long i will be remembered for ...
who will remember me ...
how many people would be hurt after i'm gone ...
what is the lagacy that i would left behind .. kid's perhaps...

questions like that

I know that's not the ordinary way of looking at death but that is what i am thinking about when the whole death aspect coming into play ...
I try to live my live without no fears and i think when it's your time ... it's your time and there is nothing u can do about it , so instead of fear for your live in those last moments and crumble into small ball and wait for it to happen , embrace death when it's your time and live those last moments without the fear , with people closest to your hart , use all the time what u got left to cherish those moments with them.

I had one experience in my life that change the way i am thinking about death and this is the result of it.

@BigHulk

i know some of those answers well they kept me happy for years
how long does not matter your actions and choices all ready effected life as we know it ....the impact u have can be limited or vast ...but the over all changes u caused are never seen atleast not on this side

who do u want to rem u and why........in a set time they will be gone and the past ends up fading out of living memory ..... u seen human culture how it changes and alters as time passes with in 200 the lang spoken every day will total alien to us and ours will be thought of like we think of ppls from the 1700/1800.......again it is the actions u do in life u caused something it effects something else (chaos theory in the end a pattern will form out of seaming random events)

Hurt is not the right word miss is ...........again as time passes this falls to the way side and has no meaning life spans of 76 years means living memory of a person is only possible for say 150 years after that it would be all second hand stories and videos/pics/personal writings

what u are leaving behide are the choices and actions .........because u did this altered that allowing this to happen in return effecting that ..........that unseen chain of events that came from your actions your choice is what u are leaving behide

this leads all to one thought pass it on .........if u are a dick then that is what u are passing on your actions effected another person mode and made them a dick for the time .......so for the sake of everyone and varaibles that are unseen ...be nice to each other help where u can ( walk up to a random person ask are they a cop they say no give them 1 gram of your finest for free and walk away )
