Hell yeah thanks for the write up on this strain, I am getting ready to order some of these seeds, it cost alot but looks like it is well worth that extra cost

I meet people all the time that say they have a bad ass cutting of Blueberry met a dude this week in fact.
If you want Blueberry then go get her just know its going to take a bit of work.

i would never buy one of dj shorts packs. it seems you would have to spend way too much to find a keeper. getting a clone of a good cut seems to be the only way to go.

Not if you know an obscure old school breeder/seed bank with the original strain!

good thing i have a cutting that i got from an old head who has been working it for 20+ years very nice i must say really lucky cause obviously now it's not worth how hard it is to find something good with there packs...i popped one timewreck which is tga gear and it was a nice female what luck hopefully it turns red

DJ's blueberry has taken a bad name due to counterfeits, unstable mutants, and germ rates. I was lucky enough to receive DJ's personal stock delivered to attitude after the counterfeit beans. Two main pheno types pinkish purple stem sativa dominat Hermies in flowering. Similar to subs. The other a black/purple indica dominant my opinion the keeper. Both definatly nute sensitive and a learning experience. I'll be able to give my final review after almost a year. Thanks sub for your life and inspiration you provide. Onelove.

Its my understanding that Dj Short and DP had a fall out but that DP used to carry some of his stock. I believe they've re-worked the genes to be somewhat more stable? I'm considering ordering a pack. I saw a gentleman on here that got a 5 pack and found a keeper. Had beautiful blue hues and the classic BB flavor. To me, that's where the experience in BB is. It's not about extreme potency, but rather the enjoyability of it. Sure, everyone loves potency, but if a strain meets 3 or 4 out of 5 desirable traits, its worth it to me.

Also, huge thanks to Sub for taking the leap for the RIU community. I'm looking forward to getting some 3d or Qleaner here very soon. Wanna find that Coconut pheno, I've got some key lime pie flavored ganj I'd love to add some potency and vigor to.

I grew out his blueberry about 15 years ago and loved the taste of it. Then 2 years ago I picked up a pack of his blueberry and a pack of his true blueberry and didn't find a single plant that had the taste of the old stuff. The sativa plants were ok but other than the colors I didn't see that many thing that reminded be of the early gear. The regular blueberry had a few that looked the same but no real blueberry taste at all. I did find a decent pheno that I kept around for a year or so but it was more Highland Oaxaca Gold taste and had a nice chocolate and coffee overtones but had the shorter blueberry plant structure. Very nice bud but took it a good 2 months cure to gets true taste. The only one I've found that had anything close to an old school blueberry taste was found in a pack of blue bonic from S.O.L seeds and only one of them out of sixteen females I had the taste. I've been looking and buying seeds for the last 5 years trying to find another keeper with the taste. I've just got some of Bogs blue moon rocks and maybe it will have a tasty blueberry in the pack. I'm planning on crossing BMR female with some plush berry pollen I've been saving. Last year I made a great cross of Sour bubble and Agent Orange. It improved the yield and veg time of the SB but had a mix of moca and orange taste that's very strong and has rock hard buds. I don't have any plans on buying any of DJ's gear in the future. It's way to high priced for mutant hermies and none I've tried was strong enough for my needs. I hope you find a good one Subcool so maybe you can bring back that BATGIRL strain that's in your book.

I would be interested to see this done again but with some of the Cali conn. gear. You could get 10 TGA seeds for the price of 6, the Buddha Tahoe looks top shelf but i am curious how many keepers you would find. I would even bet that a 10pack of TGA has more keepers than double the price 12(2 6packs) of any cali conn.

Rock on Sub! I FINIALLY got a killer DJ Short's Blueberry clone from The Natures Recourse in Tacoma, Wa. I got a nice TGA lineup right now. Spacedawg, Ripped Bubba, Querkle, Jack The Ripper, Third Dimension, Vortex, Void and Qleaner. I think I'm forgetting one. I grew out 2 packs of DJ's Blueberry with zero keepers.. Got a keeper from all packs of seeds from tga and thats 8 packs now. Only 3 of those were 10 packs the rest 5packs.

I was bummed u werent at the seattle hempfest this year. Had some really good bubble hash. Best ive made after watching your totoural. I really wanted to show u my stuff since u hooked me up last year. You ever need some new testers man holla at me! I'm bought to pick up a new video camera from the pawn shop to record some of my own weed nerd videos! ha peace

My dj short blueberry rocks. Same with my dj shorts Flo two of the best tasting strains you could possibly buy. Well worth the price.

They all taste pretty damn good when grown right... Querkle and jilly bean are 2 of the best tasting ones I've done so far with querkle being my favorite tasting strain so far... but jilly was damn good as well.....

My personal favorite tasting TGA strains are JTR and Qush. Love the lemon flav of the JTR and the earthy take of the Pre 98 Qush pheno. plushberry has a very nice, strong, fruity taste also.

I finally met the cat at the Cup in 2010 and Me and Jill walked up and introduced ourselves and he was a total arse.

I just found this thread.

I am finishing a 10 pack each of Blueberry and F13. Both have performed well and there is at least 1 keeper in each.

Blueberry 10 out of 10 germinated

6 females

0 hermies.

Regarding the DJ comments. I have met the “Cat” if polite, educated, knowledgeable, soft-spoken and genuinely trying to help the MMJ movement equals an “arse” then we need more of this type.

As far as the price of beans; obviously the seed banks have substantial markup. 10 beans were only $80 from DJ’s hands.

It’s not hard to force anything to hermie.

It appears you found what you set out to find… And managed to slam one of the world’s topbreeders.

If the reverse was true there would be Blueberry strains everywhere.
You talk nice smack but evidence if what we trust in.
I grow lots of peoples gear with amazing results but in my 800% spent now in my life looking for a not herming Blueberry clone it hasn't happened.
Since your so informed explain Colchine to me and how DJ used it?
