I also agree,I stopped buying seeds a long time ago until very recently...

Seemed like everything I buy is hemp dud garbage, I just trashed a huge royal queen seeds northern thunderfuck...Utter trash and they sell the seeds for a hundred...All the freebie seeds from attitude has been hemp trash as well for me..I got blue widow and blue fire freebies from attitude running right now I pray its not hemp..

The second pheno of northern thunderfuck dont look so hot either, prob also trash

Your selections could be a lot better, amigo.

High temps in the flower room can make the dankest strains turn out shitty hemp buds. Cooler temps should be top priority for indoor grows.

I recently got 2 autoflower freebies from my Tude order, hso blue dream auto and dinofem northern bluebry. The northern bb has nice resin and should be descent smoke, the blue dream looks like most autos I see... no resin for shit.

Out of pure curiosity, I wonder if someone were to take an absolute lemon of a strain, put it in ideal, controlled, and constantly monitored system; and see what that strain would produce.

We must've put in an order around the same time, I got those same freebies. I also got a 710 Genetics lemon candy that was amazing, hope you got one of those too. Blue widow never cracked and blue fire missed the cut for the flower tent because it was the smallest, slowest growing plant I've started to date. I literally threw it over the side of a hill and said, "may the odds be ever in your favor".

My old cut of blueberry circa 2002 was out of this world when temps and environment were on point. I was still a newbie back then and wondered why the buds sucked ass during the summer time. Well because the flower room was 90-100+ degrees, ouch! That burnt ass weed tasted like wood and had zero thc, but that same plant in the winter time was white from frost and smelled/tasted just like grape jelly.

So I'd guess some plants people say sucked could have totally been due to hot flower room temps or lack of fresh air type deals.

Mine was a really nice surprise, really powerful lemon smell, with really citrusy, smooth smoke. Doesn't sound like it'll help you this year, but might be worth hanging onto for next year. Mine ended up being the only seed in the whole order (including the paid ones) that was worth a damn.

I'm pretty sure the only thing Humboldt about HSO is the name. They are a european company making knockoff seeds of well known strains. A scam IMHO. No different than trying to pass off California wine as Rioja.

CSI has nothing to do with HSO. I will say though HSO is pretty legit. They just did a 10k pheno hunt. As far as breeders making perfect seeds that's ridiculous. Like I mentioned do some research into how breeding works. That statement shows a lack of knowledge on your part.

Humboldt Seeds Organisation is a British company. They have nothing to do with Humboldt County and their "elite" strains are just them playing the name game to cash in on whatever's hot.

Yep, I only mess with HSO with freebies and I would say it is hit or miss with mostly misses, but sometimes you come across something better than average.

Hso black d.o.g. is a solid ass strain. Biovortex put in some good work on that one. The rest of their offerings are hit or miss.

Finished up a Chocolate Mint OG about a month ago and everyone seems to like it. It has the baby poo smell that is pretty good when it comes to buds.

I had the worst luck with the black d.o.g. The thing was an absolute runt and the high is mediocre at best. The HSO Blue dream, on the other hand, was more hazey and out of this world; sad I didnt keep a cutting of it.

I've grown many of the strains mentioned as duds and done quite well with them. Environment is crucial. I've grown the same cut under different conditions and had completely different results. The Black D.O.G. is very good if you get a good pheno.
