Definitely leave it in the shade. Go to the dollar store and buy a bamboo pole and some zip ties or garden wire. I know the dollar stores around here have that stuff

w many leds would i need of this kind i only have 4 sockets to put it into

buy 2 to 4 and then add them to your cfls, or as $$$ is allowed use them stand alone

My first grow looked similar to yours and I ended up with 20 grams. It's a good learning experience. The most important change is brighter lights, and plant training to keep it short and squat.

Those led bulbs wont hurt the plants get close as you can use your hand to check the heat coming out the lamps shouldnt be much at all, maybe 3-5", try spreading the light to shine as many bud sites as possible

Imo no but I don't know much about cfls.. just go get a 600w hps ! Personally I don't see the point skrimping on kit. You WILL make the money of a 600 and ballast back after your first grow no doubt about it. By all means see this one through but don't expect much from it.. you have to consider time spent on it aswell as electric used and nutes and everything and then considered if it's worth it... with a 600 it will be. I would never use cfls but that's just me . Good luck either way.

hey man, if it's a sativa they get super tall. you may want to try an indica dominant. Here is a good thread about growing with screw in bulbs https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?s=33260516cef3764534da05cab841402d&t=314806 - if you got the type of bulb with the plastic lens you can remove it like this to make it brighter
