Deltamethrin 2.5% EC

I've given up on the Organic approach to spider mite infestations, as mine got waaay out of hand (got the insecticide late and didn't use it properly etc.) and so I've now used the following solution:
Deltamethrin 2.5% EC

I choose this, because I couldn't find any other chemical insecticide here locally (and they haven't got organic insecticide either, though I succeeded in getting Lavender and Rosemary Oil).

I use a shirt wound around my lower face, along with a motorcycle helmet with a visor and my glasses. Long sleeved shirt and long pants with long rubber gloves.
Then I mixed about half a liter water with something like 10-15ml of this solution and it went white and foamy.
I'll spray the inside plants later, with a more diluted concoction of about half.
I leave it all on the balcony over night.
Tomorrow, shower the plants and move them back and clean up outside...

I sincerely hope this will be the end to my mite infestation.
If anyone knows how much to dilute this stuff or in general how to use it (my manual is in gibberish), feel free to enlighten me . . .

The bottom line in mite control. FORBID 4F!
NOT a "true" poison. Am acid that blocks lipid fat uptake in the bug. Dries them out! ALL Stages of the bug, including eggs.
Find it in affordable amounts on Ebay!

A simple light misting on the surface of the leaves is all you need. 6-8 DROPS per gallon of water is all it takes to make it.

I'd love to try that, but it's 200$ for 8 ounces + 40$+ in shipment, so not really an option at the moment.
The Deltamethrin was 1$ for a bottle of I'm not sure, but maybe 10ml!

Oh - I wrote 10-15ml above and in reality it was more like 5ml or less I'm guessing . . .

It most def killed the mites, while darkening buds and leaves in some instances. Ants and everything else also seems to have died...
I started showering them today, but still need to do the Hydro plants (showered, trimmed and cleaned all the soil plants, then washed and cleaned their grow areas).
I'm washing them since I don't want to keep the toxins around for any longer than necessary and I figure in a day, I'll start spraying bi weekly with organic stuff, as prevention (since it didn't do enough to stop the actual infestation).

Sigh,,,,,Take another look at ebay and look past the first thing you find listed.
There are 1/4 and 1/2 once amounts available.

You couldn't get Organocide (fish Oil) to work on those little bastards? $13 for a quart of the concentrate. It works great (on most Mite infestations) but smells gross. Use it 2 to 3 times a week (depending on RH and Temps, Mites breed faster in warmer temps, so spray an extra time in the week for warmer temps) for 2 weeks and the problem is usually gone.

I once had a batch of "super Mites" (got a infected clone from a Dispensary I never visited again) we ended up calling it "the borg" because nothing but undiluted "Oils" (neem, organocide, etc... but that is too harsh for plants) and synthetic "Thrins" (Permethrin, Bifenthrin, etc.) at 1000x the recommended strength wold work (I spent weeks trapping the bastards on a sheet of paper and doing trial and error on what worked/killed them).

Best of luck killing off the rest if those Mites without killing off yourself, as it sounds like you're planning on using those buds "tainted" with nasty chems.

Well, the flowers are still rather small on all but one plant and either way, I thoroughly showered each plant the next day. I also trimmed the leaves that looked sick, but then realized there wouldn't hardly be ANY leaves left, so left some that looks like they'll fall off soon . . .
I'll make some pictures - it's a very sorry sight to behold.

I will likely check the buds very well after harvest, but am not planning to harvest for another week or two. However, since all the leaves are gone, the buds probably won't grow much more, so maybe I should just harvest what measly few grams I'd get now . . .
Since that's hardly any harvest, I'd rather wait a bit - if they put on some size - good. If not, well it was fucked anyhow...
For the next batch though, I'm well prepared and am hoping I won't have to use Deltamethrin whatsoever and at all . . .

Organocide (fish Oil) is not available here, nor is anything that's not made in China or similar country and brands - forget it.
1/4 and 1/2 once bottles of Forbid, is on the list for next time, but while it's VERY cheap in these sizes and still enough for a LOT of insecticide, it's still 25$+ for shipping . . .
I'd also like to try diatomaceous earth once I get my hands on some . . .

I use Organocide all the time. It works great for anything living on the plant. It's not a substitute for leaf eating bugs like loopers and catapillars, for that your still going to need thuricide or spinosad, but for mites Organocide its the ticket, and it is cheap and available at HD and Lowes. Good luck at killing those bastards. I had a mite issue on my last run and it was a bitch to figure out what it was and then figuring out how to kill them. The Organocide did the trick. Good Luck Dude.
