Bonjour
May i put silicon instead of glue!?
Because if i have to remove anything, glue could be a problem.
I am also interested in the probes and fan controler. Is it possible to put the probe on the heatsinks and use it as a thermostat (i am not sure of the English name) and how much you paid for it!?
Have a great day ★

Yup, silicon would work as well, this glue seems very easy to take off and I didn't want to run out to the hardware store lol

And yea, that is basically what I will be using my fan speed controller for. I will find out the model of this when I am back at home later this evening! You are able to tape them onto the heatsink and it will tell you how hot it is, and your fan RPM will adjust according, or you can set each one individually.

I was playing around with it last night and you can't set the temperature you want, it just assumes its a CPU and tries to keep it cooler than 50°C and will automatically slow or speed up the fans if its warming up or cooling down. I just set my RPMs manually and keep them about 400rpm below max speed to reduce noise in my veg cab. Likely will do something similar with this panel

Thanks for buying Cree friend. Mother fuckers went up 1.15 today!!!!! Should be rich rich by December!!!!! Thanks dudes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All my other panels also have cree diodes, so you are welcome lol. Always willing to support a company that listens to what we want! I expect stocks to be going in an upward trend as the HPS guys slowly convert over to COBs lol

LED Magazine stated in 2020 LED Grow lights will be a 1.9 billion dollar business
I believe that whole heartedly.

But on the scale of lighting across the entire planet. its relatively small potatoes. A 1999 study estimated 60 million street lights on earth. LED magazine has also projected that 93% of these lights will be LEDs by 2023. Lets say each LED street/highway light goes for $500. That's a 30 billion dollar industry. Add in warehouse/ industrial highbays, and the automotive industry and we are talking some serious cheddar.

grow lights are a single drop of water in the ocean compared to stadiums, parking structures, highways, universities, etc. The question becomes: will Cree be the manufacturer to gain market share in these commercial fixtures.
Fuck lets hope so. Why would they not be?

Cree is a great company and they make a great diode, but their product offerings are limited when compared to a company like Phillips. When a municipality is looking to replace their highways lights, phillips can provide the diodes, driver, fixture and software integration for proximity dimming, monitoring and control. Cree can only provide the chip.

You would invest in philips?

All is good guys I don't mind the activity in here lol

I totally agree that the growers is just a small market, residential and commercial is more so the real game changer. I'm a civil engineering student and my girlfriend is an architect student, and we both plan on using low consumption LEDs in all of our projects, pretty much all my job sites are already 100% converted, as I have been pushing for that for a while already with my company lol. I see a lot of room for improvement in this world, and want to do my part in making things are much more sustainable.

And for those that want to know which fan speed controller I was using in my veg cab, it is a Sentry LX Dual 5.25" LCD Fan Controller. I won't be using the same one for this panel though . Likely will go with a BitFinex controller this go around .

Some more pics for you guys...
The RPA will get pollinated by the lovely Kush Northern Lights male I have, and I'm pretty happy with the way she is starting to fill in. Got a good ways to go still, and I'm chucking pollen at the lower branches so I can enjoy some of this top cola smoke, looks like she's gonna swell nicely in a month or so
