Cannabis is an accumulator plant.

pesticides of course.
Also from water.
tap water includes contaminants including neurotransmitters , researcher chemicals, and prescription drugs, that are not reported but are harmful in small quantities.
u.s. water reports can be ordered from the utility company
or viewed here

I usually get the rain run off from my roof over hang BUT I am a little worried about what my asphalt shingles could be adding to this water. :???:

Now my tap water is alkaline but smells OK, if I use that I usually let it sit in an open bucket for 24 hours before using and have to add a little vinegar.

I think I should make a better rain catcher like a tarp or plastic slanted to catch the rain rather than the roof water.

I have to ask. Is this a thread about US municipal water quality? Or the nature of cannabis to clean pollutant from areas it's grown?

I'm lost.

Well the article after a quick skim through seems to just elude to what alternate news sources are already have been saying and that is even our produce can be and are at times tested above normal limits for pesticides but more recently I just read an article about the uranium contamination in mid west aquifers that feed crops and is used for drinking water, they also mention a particular area in CA also and this water was tested 800 to over a 1,000 times accepted levels. These toxic "things" end up in our bodies after ingesting or smoking what ever uses this water, crops, tobacco, or weed and sometimes as they move from plant or fish to another consumer be it another fish the contamination factor's up quite a lot. Not Good and the reason industrialized nations suffer with cancer.

1,000 gallon tanks w/ filter. Collect rain water. Don't tell anyone. It's illegal.
