Well I went looking for places outdoor and was wondering if anyone knew how to kill trees without cutting them down? Like what would I have to inject in the tree to kill it? I would rather just carry a hatchet and make a big cut in it with somthing that would cause it to disperse....Any ideas?

........Would like to keep the tree standing but dead...If I wanted it to look like I was growing there I would just cut it down or blow it up... Need it looking naturaly dead, not choped down or blown up considering trees dont cut them selves down or blow them selves up it will not work...Last year we cut the trees down and I think thats how they saw it from the air...

I mean really..........What the hell? I asked what kills trees wasnt asking for sombody to tell me to "be creative"... If I wanted to be creative about killing the tree I would spray paint it pink.....

I bet bleach would work if you kept feeding it. It wouldn't be too hard to carry some bleach a mile over a couple of weeks. Water it bleach. DO WORK SON!

If I did that it could fuck up the soil in the area and get to my plants over time..... You gotta remember trees can heal just like us......Bleach wont be strong enough to kill a big tree make it sick maybe and I dought even that the sap and water would push it back out of the tree....

I need someone that has used somthing to kill a tree.....Sorry but I would rather not hike a mile with a bunch of "maybe it could work" bleaches and shit.... I mean honestly wow.....People really out there dumping bleach into the ground where they are growing? Prolly not considering it would kill everything else once it rains.....

Ill prolly just use diesel fuel and a hatchet if nobody has any for sure solutions by day light....

can't you just find already dead trees to knock over instead? I see plenty of em in the forest. if you look up at the trees they usually have leaves on em. if you see one without any leaves, chances are its dead. I do this all the time, by either pushing them down, or for the bigger ones, I hook a strap to my truck and tree and yank it down, or if you can't get a truck into the bush a strap and a comealong winch. looks naturall and karma won't get you back for killing perfectly good trees.

Allright,you want to kill these fukin trees right now without a bunch of maybe shit,you need a product called "Round up Tree & Brush Killer",that shit will defoliate a mighty oak tree in a few weeks with no guess work,ive done it several times & will be doing it this year as well .

Take a cordless drill with spare batteries & a 1" spade bit,you'll also need a long neck funnel for each tree you want to drop & zip lock baggie for each funnel.

Drill a hole at the base of the tree at a severe angle as deep as you can,you can buy auger drill bits that can cut a 12" inch depth at Home Depot,put the funnel in the hole & fill it up with Round up,then cover the top of the funnel with the zip lock bag & secure it,within 24 yours the funnel will be empty & the tree well on its way to defoliating.

Fill the funnel every few days for a few weeks & that tree will not grow one single leaf & it will brown out & die looking very natural.

Thanks buddy thats about what I did. I mixed diesel and round up and drilled holes for funnels. If it doesnt start killing the tree I got a couple more ideas this spot is for next year so im not in a real hurry.. Thanks panhead for making me use my funnels now I dont have to do my uncles oil change today.

Girdle it,take off the bark and inner bark down to wood for about 6" all around the trunk of the tree.this should kill it within a year.Make sure the bark does not grow back. I have used this method successfully.

Yeah, dig some deep rings around the base of the tree, this removes the xylem and phloem tissues. Thus cutting off water and nutrients from reaching the rest of the tree airgo killing it. Beavers do this so its as natural as its going to get.

I used the girdle method before i went to roundup,it will work but it is vastly slower,if you want to use that spot this season a girdle most likely will not deprive the tree of enough resources to totally defoliate it in time for springtime sun.

The end result is the same only different time frames.

I got this from googling...Killing a tree.... "if you want too kill the tree before you cut it down,make sure there are no other tree's in the area that you do not want to kill.purchase an auger type bit used for bulb's,drill around tree 10-12 feet from trunk 10-12 inches deep, pour half full with rock salt,fill with water and that will do the trick.

why the fuck do u need to kill the tree be serious if u cout it down its not there if u kill it and it goes away its not there doesnt make a fucking difference from a helicopter POV
