Hey Fade I use the two way split small a/c's in my drying rooms like the ones they have in restaurants, offices, etc. I have one that will go down to 61F and the other only goes down to 62F. I keep it at that temp the whole time drying. The larger room has 2 dehums in it to bring the humidity down to 50% more quickly for the first three days so mold doesn't kick in. The smaller room only needs one dehum in it. Once at 50% I keep it there the whole time. I have a fan that I put down on the ground too to lightly circulate air under the plants where the air tends to not move near as much as the rest of the room.

Thanks for the tips!

I'm going for a 10-14 day dry, then blasting! I will be doing some controlled testing for the www.coloradobudblog.com.
i will review return, terpene, flavonoid and stability! After my cured product is ready, I will run the same plant and compare the two.

Also im doing another run after we have established the better method, using the same plant, running one tube each of various butane companies like Lucienne, colibri, Newport, power 5, vector, and Hitman (if I can find it). It might have been done before, but more testing is always good!

I will ill try to remember to report back!

No prob Fade!

Right on Chewberto I've learned more from doing controlled tests than anything else. Reading, watching vids is great but testing is the holy grail. I've been using a butane called xikar that I get from a local head shop out here in Canada. I haven't seen any of you guys mention it yet so I'm thinking you guys don't have it in the USA. I'm really curious to see how pure it is in a test.
I tried the Hitman on my last run and I'm not sure if I like it cause I saw some kind of an oil film left that wouldn't purge out on the wax but I can't say if it was the Hitman stuff 100% because I also had used a couple of the xikar cans in that run. I also didn't like the metal insert nozzles that the can's had. I use glass tubes so I was worried the metal nozzles would crack the glass if I pushed too hard or twisted the can too much.
I find the plastic nozzles seat themselves much better in my extract tubes than the metal ones do.
