Ya I will probably pick one up after I run out of ph drops, no need to have both laying around. Got my light today really like the dimming feature of the ballast. Going to move my cab tomorrow and just use that light. Then its just waiting till my tent shows up.

Be careful when using the dimmer, it can reduce the life of your bulb. Its best to shut it down for a few minutes before switching. I popped a bulb once doing that... Also ran a 400w on 600w for a couple hrs... New bulb was black on the inside lol but it was still running.

I'm also using drops and that works just fine for me too, was a bit of a hassle at first learing to interpret the right color, but once I got the hang of it its been smooth sailing. Actually I hardly ever check pH now, maybe once a week on one of my four plants.. cause im lazy. :P And theres really no need to as long as the plants look OK.

Ya I have noticed that my ph doesn't change as much as I had expected after my reading. It stays pretty steady along with my ppm. My DWC setup has been pretty maintenance free so far. She is looking really good and bushy now. Put the light on her at 450 till I get my tent and control a bit more of the temp/humidity. Water is still pretty good so I just topped off the water and am going to let it run till I see the ppm drop below 1100. Still around 1300 now.

Family stopped by and did not expect a thing, other then the few we showed the littler girl too. Hooked up my light and fan on a temporary setup above my small cabinet waiting for my new tent this week (very ghetto and hard to control climate) Probably am going to top the plant here in the next couple days. Plant is getting bushier by the day. Though still not very much vertical growth.

Well I think it is time I top and trim the lower larger branches off this little lady. Seems like it is getting to thick and shaded. Maybe it will promote some vertical growth. Picking up some shears today along with some new buckets so I can transfer her over to a 5 gallon this week.

Its about now that it will really take of so dont worry about the height, I thought I would have a real problem on my hands with my indica plant since it was always a lot shorter than the others, but in the end it took of as a rocket compared to the first month or so, and now on my day ~20 flower its streched out and fits in perfectly in my space.

It looks to have about 5 nodes high? So should be fine to top or fim, good luck :)

Ya it has to be the CFL's, as soon as I put the MH light on it it has sprung up to about double the height that it was and is looking really good. Had to postpone the buckets and scissors today since my favorite garden store was not open.

So just got word today that my tent should be arriving on Thrusday. Sort of bummed because I would really like to get everything moved over and the plant is getting pretty large in its current area. At this point I think I will have to cut the lid off the netpot so I can pull the roots through with out damaging anything. Also am waiting to add nutes and water since I would just have to dump them in when the tent comes in.

I am having issues though with trying to figure out how my current RDWC setup will work with the new tent. I would like the res to be outside of the tent but the extraction holes are about a foot off the floor of the tent. This would mean I would have to raise the bucket in the tent a decent amount to have gravity work and run the water to the res. I think that would be fine since I am going to scrog this lady when she gets put in the tent. Though maybe down the road when I do 2 or more plants I will buy a inline pump.

Some updated pics, That is a 200mm fan along with half a 2 liter bottle I have been using to add humidity to the area.

Got my tent in finally. Setup the whole shabang and she is looking pretty good. Flipped the lights to 600w right now. Will put up a screen in the next day or so and start training her under. Thinking about maybe keeping it a 400w grow until the last few weeks of flower. Though it doesn't seem to be getting to hot at the tops of the plant. Right around 73 degrees. Also found a inline pump today at a local garden store. So did not have to raise the bucket off the ground.

Growth has continued, getting the environment dialed down. Got the temps to stay around 75~ under the lights by turning the fans up a bit. Water temp was a bit high at 74, but since the plant has started blocking alot of the direct light on the bucket it has cooled down to about 68. Going to monitor a bit more, hopefully will not have to bother with a cooler of any type. Plant looks good overall, noticed a few leaves with some marks on them (1 or two leaves). Other then that everything looking good. Built my new screen the other night, pretty sturdy and am pretty happy with it. Thinking of switching to 12/12 in a few more days, screen is going to fill up quick if it continues this growth. Think it is about time to switch?

Really loving the new setup too, the tent is perfect and it does not get to hot in the tent at all with the 6" passive intake at the bottom pulling in air over the plant. With all the growth and enjoyment it has been bringing me my wife has started looking into hydroponics for a vegetable garden in the basement as well using some t5's.

Switched the MH light for the HPS. Going to leave it on 18/6 for a day or so more and then flip the lights. Also did a little bit of pruning underneath. Really need to get a oscillating fan since I noticed some moisture build up under one of the leaves. Though every thing else looks normal. Drinking a bit more water now, might need to start using tap water at this rate. Just spend more time getting it to the right PH.

Everything still going fairly smoothly. Switched to the HPS a few days ago and it is on the 3rd day of 12/12. Screen is filling up pretty quick. Should I just keep pulling them under for a week or so? Letting some of the lower growth catch up to the top? Kind of confused how long to actually scrog so that they all grow together.

Found a setting on my camera to fix the white balance of the photos so I no longer have that yellow tint to the pictures. Also added a 200mm pc fan to push some air over the tops of the plant. Sitting around 75 with the light on. One problem I was having was that the main stock kept growing and pushing it self out of where i set it in the screen, holes were to big for the top to stay in place. Fixed it with a little bit of extra string.

So been a bit since I have added a update. Screen has pretty much filled up so I stopped tucking it under. Really blew up when I switched over to the 12/12. Noticed some drying out of some fan leaves that were in the center so I suppspect that the light was to close. Moved it, hopefully I do not see any more damage. Getting really dense around the screen, almost no light is making it past the bottom of it now. Going to pick up a oscillating fan soon since the little 200mm fan is not pushing enough air to get past that first bit of green.

She started showing some pistals a few days after the switch. Seems to be some awesome genetics, i do not have to do much to keep her happy. Checked in the bucket the other day and she started snapping the netpot with her roots. Hopefully she doesn't destroy the whole pot. It is just a 3inch that I was using from start, will definatly be moving up to the 6 inch that comes as a lid next grow.

It also looks like I will have to keep this a 1 plant op since it seems that one takes up all the space with a screen.

Seems like my EC is a bit off going to buy some calibration solutions tomorrow. PPM was at 1009 yesterday and today was at 1209. She might just be drinking tons of water though.....

Really starting to smell, I was tending to her before leaving tonight and realized I smell like sweet herb when I left the house. =P

Thanks!

I really am amazed how thick it got so quick. It looks like there are multiple plants under there. Scrog is defiantly the way to go.
