I'm good, thanks.
I see you claiming to build & grow all the time. If you do not then you are a lier. I am only trying to share the truth.
You obviously are not & should BACDAFUCUP off my nutzzzzz?
I grow & share real time, real life experiences. Not some googled shit saying I'm all that cuz I repeated the words of another. I'm bout real shit. You make people hate RIU when you speak. Have some respect for those trying to share the truth or offer insight based on experience & logic.
Your not right for being a dick to me & you barely belong here. Your nerd shit can only go so far before it needs to actually apply to growing. And try thinking for yourself & not knocking others for doing so.

Dude I never had a problem with you until you stopped listening to what people were saying and started acting crazy and paranoid. As I have said many times I admire your grows and I liked your attitude until you turned. Just understand that your real world grow experience doesn't necessarily qualify you to argue about physics with some guys who are clearly serious nerds putting a lot of time in to come up with data that benefits us all. Just suck it up and put it down to experience, and keep an open mind. There is a lot to be learned here. peace
I am not a physics expert but I can logically see & understand what these things mean to me & my grow. I've studied led for a year now & am no slouch.
In the intensity thread I politely stated an opinion in which you & a bunch of other guys that talk & never show jumped down my throat. They called me names & kept avoiding the facts just to scramble up some data sheets. At that point, I slowly became irritated. The more I was poked, the madder I became. All the while watching your boys saying things that obviously showed they do not grow or have any idea how these physics apply to growing other then repeating what some other guy said.
I see you are realizing your mistakes so I'll let this go with you. But do not Harras me when I'm attempting to be a contributer to ideas that may help other growers be successful.
Thank you for your noticing I'm trying to show people what works for me with my grows but understand this is a forum for weed growers & those whom want to learn.
The guys you're rolling w/ have no business here & make real growers sick with their attitudes & rude behavior.
I'm not crazy but understand. Where I'm from, I'd break a dude quick for a mouth like they have. So my patients only goes so far. Peace, & I hope to see you around under better circumstances.

I'll tell you something interesting I read the other day... in the not so distant future we will see hybrid COB light engines that combine the best qualities of phosphor based coating tech and RGB tech for even higher efficiency. kinda like having a whole Amare in a single COB.
Yea i saw the same thing. Was like a massive 600 watt sink with 1 chip and a reflector. I want that motherfucker. Did you see the buds he was growing? Holy fucking shit!!!!!!

Just to be clear I am not realising my mistakes. I was super nice to you at the start but I got tired when you stopped listening and became weird. I try not to hold grudges so all good. Your problem was that you had this little bit of knowledge about how the inverse square law affects light, but then you refused to acknowledge the fact that it only applies to a point source of light, and not to the indoor growroom. That and the fact that every time you would decide to stop and listen... just at that moment somebody else would come along to back you up and make you think you were right after all. It was kinda funny to watch.

The guys you're rolling w/ have no business here
Just so you know I am not rolling with anyone here - I am alone out on my little island in the sun. I am only rolling with truth and knowledge. You appear to have failed to notice that I don't promote any particular growlight company over another. I am impartial. I see a bunch of good COB lights out there that can all grow legit weed.

I personally really like the look of the Amare and I really enjoyed the side by side you did with the HydroHog. If money was no object and it was appropriate for my circumstances I would probably choose one of their lights. However I am rather thrifty so DIY appeals to me a lot. I also like understanding how things work, so again DIY appeals.

Whatever you may feel about any of the individuals here, you gotta give props to some that have been here for a long long time; tirelessly sharing information and empowering others to build their own lights, doing hours of boring testing etc just in the nature of sharing knowledge. Just 6 months ago I could not imagine building my own grow light, let alone having it be the best light I have ever used by a long mile, and there is no way I could have done that without this forum and it's contributors. Respect where it's due.

I actually didn't see any pics - this was just a few lines in some obscure LED magazine article... can't even remember exactly where it was now. U got a link to pics?

Sounds good to me!
Maybe we were on different pages during that conversation or I was explaining myself wrong. Either way, it was only my opinion as being a possible solution to lost density below the canopy. No biggie.
Im all about the truth myself! See ya around, peace!

Experience doesn't always lead to advancement, and for advancement you need to think and make educated decisions on how something can be improved ,you can only grow weed so well, once all environmental conditions are artificially perfected there's no room for improvement (unless genetic manipulation is brought into account).

As much is this forum section is about growing weed it’s also about improving the equipment needed to do so.

For instance no one was really that interested in citizen before Jorge Gonzales started to provide some theoretical evidence, that they could bring something to the table. Bobby g decided to implement this theory and found that they were fire ( specifically the CLU048 and CLU058 ) through practical measurement. Now we know that citizen may underrate there cobs in data sheets and that they can out preform the 3590's. So someone is bound to do a side by side grow, (Citizen Vs Cree) .Then we will likely see an advancement.

I’m not saying that we have found the ultimate conditions for growing the various cannabis strains however we certainly have not found the ultimate lighting equipment to do so either and there is no reason why we can’t advance in both fields simultaneously.

It would be nice to see less hate directed to people putting out educated ideas. One person doesn’t have to do all the work instead of saying there full off shit because they have no evidence of growing weed, do a practical documented test for them and then tell them there full of shit.

I agree its like in the book:

Thank and Grow Rich - You will never change anyone's mind by arguing with them, take the time to listen, understand and ask questions. If you ask smart informed questions and the other person is in the wrong, they will come to see the error in their ways through the uncovering of evidence not by yelling them down.

Work to find common ground.
