Better pull out the cb and HAM radios kids... †L†come to think of it, don't even have a cb. And the one I had was fucking ancient. But at least will have power...when the zombies are thin and we get bored we can always play our console/pc games and wait for the zombies to multiply to a number that makes them worth hunting...

If it comes to that copper salvaging will become the name of the game, making an electric generator based on wind, water, or anything that will turn it isn't hard. Its just expensive, because of how much copper wire you have to coil to get a descent power generator. You would need a collection of permanent magnets though. i know both of us are more than familiar how to survive in the middle of no where with a pocket knife, we could make it happen. Moral would become an important factor as well.

I have a nice little 6000w generator sitting out in the garage and enough fuel to hold me over till I got a wind generator.

Always be prepared when you're miles from nowhere.

As much as you guys keep disagreeing with me most of the crap we do today is done by computers, there normally isnt someone shovelling coal anymore,
and again solar powered back up generators are EVERYWHERE now im saving most likely the meat would go back in your grocery store but shit would still work excluding like internet and cable OBVIOUSLY youre not going to beable to text fred from your blackberry , but i mean mainsources of power like lights, refrigerators, running water ect

HAM and CB radios will establish communications to survivor groups, a few things that worry me are water supplies(they could be contaminated with the zombie virus). also if the virus could be contracted to animals(i.e. birds, bears, dogs, cats) a zombie bear would be fucked up. youd have to shoot that bitch with a .50 cal, but that still probably wouldnt slow it down.

it would be nice if the zombies were like the ones in legend. at least you would have the daylight hours to get shit together.

Yes, they would be terrifying, but hunting would be taken to the extreme... as far as the water, I think its 12 or 16 drops of pure bleach (no scent, etc) to a gallon of water will sterilize it...
As far as the not coming out at night, that would be helpful, and not, get a better view and hence better aim in the daytime

i just saw a zombie movie last night before passin out...i think it was day of the dead..

those zombies were fast as fuck and some of them could jump and crawl the ceiling n shit. how do you beat that? and there was one dude that was zombie-fied but didn't try to feed on humans and listened to orders...wtf mate

zombies with problem solving skills, possible, especially in engineered zombies...could become a serious problem...
but here's the thing, even with a normal person, you get them to lose they're temper, and they don't think straight. So theoreticly, by focusing on drawing out they're base instincts to make them killing machines, even if they did retain some problem solving skills, I don't think it would match someone able to keep themselves calm in the heat of shit.

...I keep a life size cut-out of Judge Judy in my widow...even a zombie knows just by looking at her to go the other way
