But you never test the nutrient SDO saturation with a DO Meter, you will never know you have a low oxygen problem and more O2 is needed until the whole mess turns slimy brown and by that time it's way late.

Question for you: What in the world do you think would happen to the plant culture, the root zone and the especially the microbial culture if you chose to maintained the room temp and the nutrient water temp both @ 82f -85F… and at the same time you keep the nutrient solution @ a constant 100% - 125% DO Saturation.

Seems like more of an issue for someone wanting to not run a chiller. Many people run hydro, with and without chillers. There are instances in hydro where the water loses its oxygen levels before and while the roots are bathed, and a chiller is a lot easier I'd say than adding a ton of air stones to your aero or ebb and flow units. Also I was more pointed toward the lowered ambient temps mentioned earlier.

Please don't take it personal at all, it applies to the 300 million people living in America about anything and everything, any way they want to chose. The beauty of America is our freedom, having the right and ability to chose everything. Way better than living in Syria for example and having very limited to no choice at all about anything and everything a person does or think.
People do make bad choices sometimes and as usual, bad choices often can result in unpleasant negative consequences. Chose to stick your hand in the fire and your hand will get burned - the burn is the physical result of a very poor choice you made.
Pro Mix seems to be a good choice for you. Don't quit a winner, stick with what works for you.
