imvho big pharma has nothing to do with weed not being legal.. people love to act like weed is some miracle drug that will cure the common cold even, but it's far from the truth..
do you really think people are going to stop taking say their blood pressure medicine in order to smoke some pot instead? or stop taking asprins in favor of a joint?? shit, of course not.. imvho, big pharma is the last reason why weed is still illegal.. people hooked on opiates aren't going to give up their percs in order to smoke a bowl, people who take meds for tons of reasons aren't going to stop taking their meds so they can try out this new miracle cure weed.. people who can't get a hard on are not going to stop taking cialis and start smoking bongs of bud.. it's the most retarded thing i've ever heard..

People can do whatever the hell they wanna do, it's irrelevant. If someone wants to take medications because their main focus is on getting high and not treating or curing a disease, then so be it, let them ruin their own life. But at least make it possible for the people who are intelligent enough to realize what's really going on to use marijuana, hemp oil, etc. to treat/cure their disease.

By the way, don't put words in my mouth. I never said it was a miracle drug, try reading before you respond to someone you ignorant fuck, but it can cure and treat some forms of cancer.

I find that I have no issue inhaling even when I have my worst migraine. Of course I do find that MJ in use for migraines has much the same effect for me as Imitrex. (The pain recedes to the point of being tolerable but the relief feels very fragile as if provocation could bring the migraine back full force). For pain relief in general, specifically as a replacement for the opiates I was taking it is UNMATCHED. I can't even BEGIN to explain the improvement in my quality of life in the last 5 months or so.

well, i can't even smoke a cig when i have a wicked headache and forget about weed.. ok, i'll give you the opiate abuse one.. what about drugs for high blood pressure, high cholestrial, heart issues, shit, just about any drug out there, weed is far from a substitute for these things imo..

It's not about the drugs it eliminates, it's about the diseases it can treat/cure. Pharmacies make tons of money off cancer patients. If some of those forms of cancer can be cured by marijuana, then they lose out on all the money they could make off that patient IF that patient decides to use marijuana as a medication.
