I've been growing (clone-only) Blue Dream for awhile now. While I never plucked a leaf from it to defoliate, I did pull a boat-load of clones from my current plant. I cut 'em right above the secondary branch....then vegged for a few more weeks. It has grown out to be a somewhat sturdy plant with great bud production. The way my Blue Dreams grew out was the lower branches quickly stretched even with the upper branches. If I had lollipopped early on I would be missing out on about 1/3 of my yield.

As far as popcorn on my Blue Dream.....I can't say that there was all that much during the last harvest.....just because how the plant grows out.

My current Blue Dream around week 5-6 in 12/12:

Here is an og that Ive kept in veg,and cleaned up the bottom. Pretty sure if i flowered her i wouldn't be hurting on yield. Now just taking cuts off her. I know this is not the greatest looking girl around this forum, but opening up the bottom and shooting a breeze across the pots is working for me. like some one said here earlier, there is shit tons of ways to garden.

why doesn't hardly anyone 'like' pictures of plants in sections other than grow journals anymore, its a strange recent phenonemon

I've lollipopped rite after the stretch is done. Day 21ish into flower. No fucking problems here. Never. Not something I plan on doing. But have. Many many many many many times

Hell yeah bro! I'm Still waiting to hear back from property management, turns out we have some competition from others that want the place to but we will know by Monday, really freaking hope we get it :D the cuts are doing much better after I upped the nutes.

Mongo, I prune leaves on the tops in veg opening up the plant and I am huge into super cropping and topping. I've had complete success with 90% defoliation on some kush plants, I've lollipopped, I've done a combo of everything, some plants don't like it, some love it. It's all about learning and reading the plants and running them more then once to find the right pruning for a particular plant (this is all indoor, I don't fuck with my outdoor plants unless I'm doing out door scrog.) I've had terrible results with pruning and I've had extremely good results pruning, adding much yield compared to non pruned plants. I like to think I am a canopy control master 8-)

It would be too easy to have you only two streets up from my brother. You should get it, fingers crossed.
Quite a few lights with 8" hoods available now. I just fully upgraded to all DE's :hump:

Hell yeah dude, hey does it snow more up there than where I live now or is it the same weather as I'd get here? It's only a few miles away from here but I know weather changes like crazy going up the hill.

And hell yeah about the 8" hoods! You gotta let me know how the DE work out, they seem like they are bad ass and the bulbs aren't much more than a regular bulb either, totally should be worth it man!

$550 out the door w/discount at garden connection. 2 of these DE lights cover 3 - 4X4 trays vs. 3 lights over 3 trays. Bad fucking ass dude.
You know, it's not that much higher than where you're at now.

Damn that's not bad at all man, same price as x3 1000w regular hoods would be, AND it sounds like it'll save electric! Someday that's what I'd like to run 8-)
