Dude, Please listen to me carefully.

Word for word, verbatim, no interpretation okay?
Can you please do that, and not jump on details, or jump to convolution...

I am speaking for myself here, although others may harbor this view:

Jared was not part of the tea party.
I am not trying to connect him to the tea party.
What I am trying to connect is gun violence to firearm rhetoric.
This event has painfully brought to light the reality behind gun violence and anti-government (which is blatant that he was anti-government) sentiment.
I think that engaging, especially on a political level, in anti-government and firearm metaphors can lead people into making an environment that is unhealthy for the US on every level.
Everyone should be recognizing this fact, both in their own actions as well as the actions of others.
This needs to be dealt with and end here.

Do you agree??

Okay. I took my little spanking for taking London's bait. Have your fun.

But it does not detract from the fact that this guy had a personal grievance against Giffords.

Refute that.

Then prove how it links him to the Teabaggers.

A source would be nice. :-P

I do not agree. Most strenuously.

No one went after Leftists after Reagan was shot. They went after the lunatic who shot him.

Words are NOT the problem here.

Words are extension of thought.

Word control=thought control.

Thought control=mind control.

Proceed and prove that paranoid schizophrenic CORRECT after all.

I for one do not wish to live in a society with THOUGHT POLICE.

Jared I thought you were in custody??

You will never get far mentally with a mindset like that. That thinking will just isolate you from other minds.

Im not saying that people can't say things, just that they shouldn't.

I am saying that firearm and violent rhetoric has no place in politics, not that people can't say it, but when they do (and like they did) the public should hold them responsible for their words, as they are adults.

I am responsible for mine, as you are for yours.

Not being allowed to speak what you want is criminal.
Not being responsible for what you say is deplorable, and far from a quality that needs to be defended.

Seriously?

You are trying to bust me on a little thing like that?

I graduated with an English Minor. Nevertheless, I try keep my grammar in check. But I do make mistakes from time to time. Forgive me. I have no editor.

But, seriously.

Dude.

Is that the best you can come up with?

Anything to DEFLECT from the ACTUAL point I suppose. :-P

Grammatical Note: The all caps in 'deflect' and ''actual' was intentional; for effect.

LOL!

Did you even watch the videos from Jared on youtube?

He said almost the same exact thing you said.
That was my grammar reference there bub.

Give em a watch...

She probably did it because she was mortified.
mortified perhaps because the very image she conjured came true? gotta say, the chickens really came home to roost here, in the worst possible way.

Perhaps she did it out for respect for the gravity of the situation.
respect would have been if she took it down when giffords spoke about the danger of this kind of rhetoric back in spring 2010.

Some on the Left, such as yourself it seems, believe she did it our of a sense of guilt.

For whatever reason she did it, I don't think she should have pulled it. Her PAC published it originally.
some people who have two brain cells to rub together believe she did it out of guilt. otherwise she would have taken it down after it caused a media stir, or after giffords spoke out against it, or even after the election was over.

nope. it took a terror attack.

and by the way, i'm *certain* she has absolutely no editorial powers over her PAC. if she was in any way against the image or ashamed by it, she would not have advised "don't retreat, reload" and "aim high, shoot with accuracy" (direct quotes).

She should now have the balls to stand by it.

See, I'm using the word 'balls' metaphorically.

Palin actually does not have balls
how do you know?

I wholeheartedly disagree. But I do believe YOU believe that.
let's add "knows the contents of my mind better than i do" to your list of positive attributes.

Even the ones made by Democrats?
what few there were, of course.

i don't recall seeing many incitements to violence from the top of the party though.

and i do tend to follow the news pretty closely.

This was not a TERROR attack. This was a rampage. A one-man crime.

He did not shout "Teabaggers Forever!" while shooting.

This was one lone disgruntled nut-job acting alone.

Accept it.

Wait a minute... if she does not have editorial control, she cannot be held wholly responsible; but she is.

How is that possible?

let's add "knows the contents of my mind better than i do" to your list of positive attributes.
I prefaced it with 'believe,' Buck. Let's keep it real, shall we?

Top of the party, bottom, middle; whatever.

Your side does not seem to make a distinction.

Why should I?
