There is the $90 license fee that goes to the state for your card then there is the doctor fee and it varies, All dispenseries are gonna want you to make them your caregiver for any discounts, if you do not want to do that your gonna have to pay full price.

However there is a loophole, you can change your caregiver anytime (and as many times) you like. My caregiver paid for everything but I'm not sure if he is still taking patients? (but I'll ask him) PLus I know another one I could ask as well that was doing discounts. Anyway you can go ahead and sign up that way and then change it when your ready.

Nope your plant is ripening with the red leaves and all but your pistols are still white and the calyxes are not swollen and killing off those white hairs or even orange or maybe even red but if the product is for you i say keep it going as long as possible you won't be disappointed some like to think that it might over ripen but i've always found waiting longer gives you better rewards...keep growin man looks good maybe a week or two

Ok, so when they advertise they charge $75, thats the doctors fee....then on top of that there's another $90 state fee. I think I understand it. Do you know of a cheap place to go? Anyone else?

get a WESTWORD Magazine. It will be loaded with places to go or just call your dispensary of choice and ask them for a recomendation.

Milehigh101 thanks for answering. You were quick and gave good advice in a timely manner. I was thinking of cutting the plant down, what a waste!

Tried to rep + but it keeps telling me to spread it around. Read a few articles on butane extracting and gave some +rep.

A doctor can say what he wants, but it's only a recommendation, not a Prescription. If you'll go on the Colorado Dept. of Health's Website, it say 6 total.. 3 veg. 3 flowering.

You're correct, but the Doctors recommendation does give you the ability to raise the need to grow more then 6 to treat your condition as a valid legal defense, and as far as i know nobody has been convicted for going over the 6 plant limit if they could use that defense. I'll admit that it's still a legal gray area and that there aren't any hard and fast rules about it right now, so having that Dr's recommendation is no guarantee that the judge/jury won't decide against you, but as long as your being reasonable about how many you grow I think you should be able to win if it actually comes down to going to court. The guys that are going to have problems using that defense succesfully are the ones growing 20+ plants, because the average jury is going to have a rough time believing that much was all for personal use.

Well, I don't know about that ... many would consider me "religious right," but I LOVE me some MMJ!!!! And besides, God created it, yes? So what, did He make a gargantuan mistake? Or was the mistake that endocannabinoid system He created us with? Oh, I just LOVE to find a Christian who demonizes pot! That's my idea of a great time ... because I'm Christian too ... and, oh, can I argue from a scriptural basis!!!
