ganics.
H&G is designed for low a ppm water source and you shouldnt need to add anything, but if you are showing deficiency than try a little cal/mag.

Overpriced, but compared to Canna they are cheaper. What I mean is they go further...just a little. I use Canna by the way.
yea, H&G is a bit cheaper than Canna (i use a mix of both)

they both kick ass, but one is designed for tap water (canna) and one is for clean water (H&G)... both companies have a PK 13/14... but Canna doesnt make a product like H&G's "Shooting Powder" because it ruins the coco for future reuse... besides that, their base nutrients are really similar and several of their additives are too.

When using the PK 13/14 in coco do you have a recommendation on the strength. It says something like 1.5ml per gal and I have heard it is a good idea to start with like .5ml and work up to 1ml in coco. What have your experiences been? I have also been doing some reading and I am considering a PK 9/18 (hammerhead) Any thoughts on that too?

thats the reason its not as good as canna.... (steaming the coco kills all the trichaderma)
Interesting since it is the biggest seller in europe .. Seems to be wroking well for me too. Here is a little more info on B'Cuzz Coco Premium Coir..

Because Atami owns its own facility in Sri Lanka they are able to guarantee the quality of the original untreated/raw product (age and origin). Atami coir is sourced from coir that is grown 50km's (or more) inland from the coast meaning the original coir source is low in sodium chloride. Furthermore, the coir is under two years old which means the coirs composition is ideal for use as a hydroponic media. Atami utilizes a unique steaming and buffering process for the coir at its facilities in the Netherlands and then ships it around the world. Atami is the only company in the world that uses this steaming process to flush impurities from the media. In this process, the coir is initially saturated with calcium and magnesium solutions. After this, the coir is steamed to 900 C and then flushed with large amounts of water; the combination of these two processes ensures that impurities are efficiently and effectively flushed from the media. After this B'Ccuzz coir is lightly fertilized to achieve optimized nutritional balance within the media. Because of Atami's rigid standards, B'Cuzz coir is the largest selling coir in the European retail hydroponics market.

canna also gets their coco from the same area and has their own facility... its probably pretty much the same exact coco, but just treated differently...
dont get me wrong, it is still good stuff and i agree that Atami makes great products... Atami is a really good company, but since your coco is steamed, i would add a supplement with trichaderma and other benifial bacterias (great white is a pretty good one)...
your yields will go up if your garden is innoculated heavily.

Would Multi Enzime accomplish this? I don't know much about this growing shit yet..I am just messin with ya. I am on my first grow..I was recommended the B'Cuzz by a freind that owns a hydro shop .. that is why I use it..I am sure canna is great too and would honestly have used canna nutes if there had been a dealer in my area..but I am very happy with the H&G now and will probably continue to use it.:weed:

i think your mistaken on your feeding measurements.
But to answer your ?... it depends on how long you want to use the pk 13/14 for...
if you only use it for one week than i would just use the full strength (6 ml per gal.), If you plan on using it for longer, then i would use like 4 ml. per gallon.

As for the Hammerhead 9/18, I do use it, but it cost twice the price as Canna's pk 13/14 and it recommends using more for much longer. It works well but i dont think its works twice as well (it just cost twice as much)...
These days i use it at 4ml per gallon during week 3, then i switch to canna's pk 13/14 for weeks 4 and 5. And then i use shooting powder and gravity for weeks 6,7, and 8... this along with several other additives, has increased my yield by 20% compared to just following the Canna feeding chart.

no, thats not the same.. use Great White by Plant Success. (called it white shark in the last post :eyesmoke: ) anyhow greate white is what H&G recommends and it works great. there are many products like this, just tell your grow shop that you want to add some benificial bacteria to your garden and get what ever they have available... you can use a compost tea also.

H&G makes some incredible products that i love.. shooting powder and roots exelerater. Oh and i rock the bud xl and drip clean too! but i like my Canna A&B for my base nutes and Cannazym over the multizym, and pk 13/14 over the top booster even though i suspect that they might be exactly the same, i know that canna uses pharmacutical grade PK and i couldnt get a answer out of H&G, so i'll stick with Canna for that too.

if you are gonna use that PK13/14. i would suggest that you use it only once. when i did use it i found that it kinda put a stop to the vertical growth. so i used it about the third week, just once. and from what i saw, imo, is that it made the buds start to grow a little sooner, which resulted in somewhat fuller, and denser buds(depending on the strain). and on the flipside adding more than one week, or more than two resulted in slowed growth, nute burn(pistils), and in one instance some herming. but that is just in my experience.

PEACE!!!

I can't find Canna Coco Pro here either I am using the Natural. It seems to be fine. I have been hand water all the way though I suspect I am going to have to change that soon as I won't be able to water often enough as they grow.

Coco is a great medium I hope You enjoy spending time with your girls. ...best fert of all is your shadow.

if u use it too early then it may slow growth... it also shouldnt be used the last week or 2, but besides that, it really cant be used too long... maybe something else caused the problems?

ok yes i know look at the plant..I would rather be a step ahead of that and give my girls the right amount of water.
I'm hand watering i have b-cuzz coir/perlite w/waist 1/2in run-off.
house & garden nutts are great but you pay a $$$$ for them i dont want to waist it..
1. can i plug run off drain hose and cut holes in it for a slower drain and a better soak?
2.water 2 times a day
3.a real good soak
3b.can i use waist if ph is right((or should i use a little fresh and a little a waist?))
4. use nutts 1 day use plain water the next day...

hit me back w/ how you hand feed or your water regiment...
