can you keep re using the same coco if u pull all the roots out?
Yes coco is reusable but I never bother coz im lazy so I just throw it out and buy more for next time :eyesmoke:.

I dont worry about my PH levels too much but after I mix nutes its usually between 5.5 and 6 depending on nute strength but I rarely even check it these days.

Master,

Which Fafard coco would have the consistency of the Green Starter block? I was thinking the 4-MC mixed with the 3-BC. My plan will be to handwater my girls through the whole grow. Which would you suggest?

Thanks

I'm looking at this medium for my first grow, can anyone give any tips on what kind to buy, I'm most likely going to have to buy from the internet, I'm looking at 3-4 plants, and I'm really looking to go all out (within reason) so that I get a nice yeild.

Any coco nutes, I read in either this thread or another thread that a nute called gravity works really well for a flowering nute, plus any veg nutes that might work well. Also which type of coco soil would be best for a container grow. Any info on how using CFL's would affect a grow in this medium as well, I've noticed most people have used HPS lights with this medium.

Anyway any and all info about this medium would be awesome! I tried searching on the site for any threads about coco, but this is pretty much it, and its a little short on the technicals (got to about page 7 until I skipped to the end to see if anyone asked the questions I'm asking know.

Thanks!

GO CANNA its the shit, i went to pick up mine from the hydro shop and noticed that apart from the slabs he only stocked canna! it doesnt need to be washed first, its like soil but your plants go crazy in it im mixin about 25-30% perlite in with it to retain a bit of moisture.

gravity is a booster for near the end of flowering to finish your plants quicker. im using canna A+B with Canna PK13/14 for a booster seems to be doing the business!

cant advise on cfl's i only use one for vegging!

happy growing man! n welcome to RIU
