Co2 users still use a carbon scrubber we just set it on the floor with the fan attached to it... It's taking all the old air and scrubbing it making it good clean air and returning it to the room.I chose to not use CO2 becasue i am using fresh air to cool my room. I think you need a completely sealed room which TO ME means air cooled hoods and ductless AC that doesnt need return air from the grow room. This also means, or so it seems, that you wouldnt need a carbon filter to scrub exhaust because there isnt any. This means your room has to be sealed better than most people can do
Yes, I agree dont buy a Co2 tank, regulator and monitor unless you have a correctly sealed environment. That means you have to pull air from another room to go through your hood to cool your lights, then exhaust that somewhere like outside or in the attic as I do.CO2 users are assuming that the MMJ can use more than what is in the air. My research has shown that the plants in our world today have adapted to current ambient CO2 content. That being said, people claim that some studies have shown increased yileds but they are in EXTREMELY well controlled environments. I suggest not investing in CO2 until you have superb control of all the other factors in your grow. My point is that there are many other factors(for the most part) we, as growers, can perfect that will have more dramatic effects on yield. CO2 is for people who have the money and the proper room setup.

Very True.. I know growers who use co2 and will keep temps 85-90 degrees with great success. I guarantee that 99% of growers would have installed co2 tanks, regulators and monitors if they were $100 dollars.lol your research yes lets just take a unknown persons word for it with absolutely zero credentials. Please you speak of extensive research you must have some data, graphs, conclusions, summarys etc...???Please show us something extreamly courious in this research .Before you get accused of being completely full of shit...
Then i will show you my research data stating that YES that's the exact way co2 works.
85 degree is ideal when using co2 can even crank it up to 88. This makes the plant transpire more, which make the plants stomatas start to contract and dilate more often. There for breathing more co2.
And what happens to the human body when you increase the oxygen input.
Look up blood doping for this one if your curious
you don't need to spend 1000$ to have a decent co2 setup. 200$ + 25$/3 monthsVery True.. I know growers who use co2 and will keep temps 85-90 degrees with great success. I guarantee that 99% of growers would have installed co2 tanks, regulators and monitors if they were $100 dollars.
Holmes... lol enough said.suTraGrow- I have no idea what you are trying to say... I stated my conclusion/summaries. I also said, in many ways, that these are opinions I have drawn up through my own research
Do your own research holmes and you will find out that most of what I am saying is good info. I am not gonna post 100 links to all the sites/info i have read.
Even running co2 in a "sealed" room you will have exhaust, thats why they sell controllers that turn off co2 and turn on the exhaust fan when a certain temperature is reached, therefore you'll still be needing a carbon scrubber.I'm sure most room that are running co2 aren't truely sealed, this would mean motorized dampers were in place , gaskets and the whole bit. I'm sure most people lose some co2 from a room, I personally pumped co2 right out of the room because I ran a portable that pulled room air over the coils to cool them and then exhausted the room thru a flex, I got odor also but it was only into the garage since thats where I exhausted to. My point is a room doesn't have to be totally sealed to benefit from co2.I chose to not use CO2 becasue i am using fresh air to cool my room. This is pretty much correct no one really has a 100% sealed environment.Even running co2 in a "sealed" room you will have exhaust, thats why they sell controllers that turn off co2 and turn on the exhaust fan when a certain temperature is reached, therefore you'll still be needing a carbon scrubber.I'm sure most room that are running co2 aren't truely sealed, this would mean motorized dampers were in place , gaskets and the whole bit. I didnt say you did. Most good co2 monitors made by Caps, Sentinal or Titan will run anywhere from 300 dollars and up unless you get the cheap one made by CAPS and those have a bad reputation. Any of the monitors that use fuzzy logic will be over 500 dollars retail and that doesnt include a tank and regulator. I prefer the fuzzy logic ones they are basically plug and play. They only turn on at lights on and they monitor your Co2 levels dispersing co2 anytime during lights on when co2 is under 1500 PPMyou don't need to spend 1000$ to have a decent co2 setup. 200$ + 25$/3 months
Yep thats correct. I know guys who dont use the monitors and just math and 15 minute intervals you just have to know your environment.actually you can get them for 200 or less if you don't want a ppm one, and truthfully all it takes is a little math and a timer that does 15 minute intervals.
