OK i've been vegging for like 43 days, i flushed then started up again with a lil "Bud Blood" to make the roots adapt to the 12/12 light cycle without any stress.

Now my question is : Does with whole homemade co2 (sugar,H20,yeast) apply to the flowering process? Does it help or hurt the nugz? I thought Co2 was just for leaf growth? Any answers would be awesome!

From what I've read on RIU (here) CO2 is only for flowering. I did make some bottle/sugar/water/yeast thingies and used them for a couple of weeks before I tired of the inconvenience . . . like having to refresh the ingredients every couple of days. I'm not sure this bottle method produces enough CO2 to make much/any difference and it's a little messy.
Try it . . . you've nothing to lose and it is interesting. Then you'll have your answer.

Where on Earth did you read that? What do you think is the main carbon source for new growth? (Hint: CO2!!!)
word, that is how plants do gangsta
they love that shit, especially during veg when their growing new leaves causing it to burn more co2, and produce more oxygen

Well I am running a CO2 tank w/ solenoid regulator and a DIY CO2 Yeast sugar water thing too. I run my CO2 tank 2x a day for 15 min. I have all my fans(exhaust and oscillating) and CO2 regulator on timers. My fans turn off and 2 min later my CO2 tank kicks on for 15 min. Then 13 mins after tank shuts off my fans start back up, to allow time for the plants to absorb the CO2. The temp kinda spikes(98-105 F) while the fans r off but it has shown no signs of stressing my plants. Then I have a 2ltr bottle in the middle of my 4 plants. I know Co2 is heavier that the air in my room, thats why i run my tanks through tubing above the canopy so it flows over the leaves and then while the exhaust is drawing air up, the CO2 produced by the yeast & sugar below the canopy is drawn up through the leaves. Constant CO2. And everything looks good!!!

BTW. I am only using CO2 in my flowering room.

LOL that thing says all you need to add is sugar and water so im guessing the refill packs are yeast, so basicly your paying 35$ for a fancy bottle.

probly less messy than a 1 gallon icey tea container with a hole punched in and siliconed but still 50 bucks for the unit and 12 bucks for the DIY

is it possible to produce TOO MUCH co2 using the yeast/sugar water method? How small of a hole should be punched in the lid? My area is borderline micro 14"W x 30"L x 20"H and after one day of using the yeast it smells rather strongly...can this produce a toxic amount of co2 for either my plants or myself?

does this method make the bud taste like shit? i cant find ne thing if it makes the bud potatoey like some other guy was asking?

Hi I am trying to get CO2 in my room without having to by any of the expensive equipment for now so I tried the 1.25L of water mixed with 1lb. of sugar and a small packet of yeast. I read that this was supposed to produce CO2 for up to 2 weeks, but when I made the mixture it doesn't seem to be doing anything....am I supposed to be able to see the reaction or is it doing its job. Any tips or other simple methods would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
