Im running co2 Ppm at 800 and some plants are lime yellow at the top at day 13 of flower. What could be causing this temps range from 80-86 humidity 55-60 percent plants are in 5 gal pots ocean forest feeding jacks all purpose 1/4 teaspoon every water per instructions ph is about 6.7. Never had this problem so early into flower til I switched over any ideas what could be causing it?

Hi Sdyy,
Don't know much about CO2 enrichment...but I assume those are reasonable levels. So lets ignore that for a second.

FFOF is pretty hot soil and shouldn't need food for a month. So is that month up? Feeding with every feeding is for coco...not soil. Are you letting it dry between waterings? Just wanted to explore the basics here.

How much light are you running? You can over saturate if you don't have enough, have had leaves yellow and fall off, although 800ppm is low unless your meter is off,

Plants were vegged for 5 weeks in 5 gal pots. They get half gal every 2 days they are under 1000 watt lights they are like a light yellow at top no leaf loss at bottom I’ll get pics tomorrow I run 800 ppm cause I think higher makes it worse not sure

Over saturate? Like say what? As long as the lights are properly spaced away from the canopy. Your not going to do what you say!

There is a light saturation point in C3 plants but, it's not going to cause any yellowing........How about you goggle that up.

800 ppm is not "low". However, if he is under HID lighting. He could run up to 1100 - 1200 and have a real world effective upper limit of 1300 ppm.

Not very many people at all can actually deliver enough light energy to effectively use 1500 ppm!

The other thing is you must run the temps and the RH high to make it really effective to it's potential.....Like if your gassing at 1300 ppm. You need to be running high 80's to 90 deg. F, and have an RH of 78 - 80%

I did not see anywhere he mentioned what lights he was using, I set my controllers 90 deg it stays between 86-90 deg except the dark period, might just be me but I see little plant growth below 1000ppm, when I first started using co2 I worked my way up from 500ppm until I hit 1100ppm I thought I had wasted my money but wow I was shocked, not into arguing, but if you do a little digging you might find you can over saturate with co2

Here’s some pics. I’m using jacks all purpose 20-20-20 1/4 teaspoon every water they are day 15 of flower. I too dressed with a tablespoon of dl to at beginning of flip to help avoid ph issues

I grow using Jacks with happy frog soil. I also am running CO2 and found early yellowing of lights. I countered that with a bit more Jacks and adding calmag (Jacks is light on calmag to begin with) and it seems to have delayed yellowing....but they do end up yellowing the last few weeks.

Yea jacks has no calcium or mag but it figured the dl would do it. What size light are u under? Do u feed a 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon every water? Was thinking bout upping it but didn’t want to mess anything up

I thought you said over saturated lighting.....

Yeah, you can use too much gas.....He's not using enough to harm them with about any lighting he would be using, short of CFL (other then T-5)....
