Colorado still wants to hear back from the U.S. attorney Generals office as well. I don't think it actually goes into effect until Jan.

Ya what he said.^^^^ I think it's going to be a mess. MMJ people will be able to buy at state stores and co/ops. If you are a MMJ person you can grow if your not you can't unless you grow for the state stores. I think CO. has a better system all ready. match

^^^^its all in who you know. i try to make friends but doesnt work so staying for the pot boom is a bad idea. you need a car and what not to make that work. the whole idea is it will be so easy to get bud there will be no use in growing it anymore. its 200 an O with the market opening up 100 will be the O in the next year. one dau the rest of the usa wil have it like that. personally its a good idea but anyone who plans to move here thinking you'll grow shit tons of bud. its only possible if you have a ton of fem's

Growers will have to sell for like 3 dollars a gram and get taxed pay license fees, security and insurance. It is not going to be something the small home grower could profit from IMO.
People will have to go big or go home. I plan to stay home. I am very interested in seeing it all implemented and how they work out the details.

if you want weed that bad you can go to the state. is it restricted to state residents only? i say people in other states stay whereyou are and invest the 2000 in moving expenses in seeds.

Fuck that. I'm saving, getting in while it's hot, riding it for a little bit, stack cash, and bow out before it collapse and I'm stuck with a big setup, to much product and no profit.

Both require state issued identification. AKA a Washington or Colorado drivers license.

WRONG
Both require a legal US identification card stating you are 21 or older. Anyone from any state may purchase marijuana in CO or WA after everything goes into effect.

Just google amendent 64 residency. Plenty of articles of people worried about "marijuana tourism" lol like its a bad thing

It'll be 2014 before any stores actually open up. MMJ is unchanged here in WA, as far as I know, so I'm still good to grow legally. Never really messed with the dispensaries anyway so, I'm happy. I do feel bad for those who are not growing it themselves though. More reason to designate a grower.
Along with that, all the old timers who used to do it or were too afraid to show it are all coming out of the "weed closet".
Figured out this past Thanksgiving that my gf's dad has started chief-in it hard. We found his stash while looking for some of my gf's old stuff in her old room. The rest of her family was shocked to find out but I fuckin knew it all along. There's no way some SoCal native, who loves the Grateful Dead and just recently retired from the navy, is NOT smokin buds now that it's legal. He came up to me that night, asked if I was ready to "have fun on the 6'th man?", and just started chuckling.

It's not legal till Dec. 6th and ther is no where for you to buy it. You can posses an ounce, but where you gonna get it. It is illegal to grow it, unless you pay the $1200 fee. Plus it will be dispensed by the Wa. State Liqour control board. They havent set up any grow rooms or shops yet. Bro it aint what you think it is. Luckily I have my card.

If you follow the link I posted earlier there is some pretty interesting stuff.
I like all the estimates of revenue it will generate. I just don`t want to see a bunch of people come in and create a false economy and then leave. Reading all the info there tells me someone has been thinking about this happening for a very long time.

it needs to go to building proper science labs and going back into the community. but not over done to a point where it culd change the ecosystem of the area.

I still think it is good in that people will not be getting charges for having a little pot that will follow them for life.
