also kentucky ....i would do a little research on breaking cfls on or over plants .... they contain some serious fucking chems ..... the kind you definitely do not want in your lungs ... they are in fact poisonous .... however i'm not quite sure if the chems are something that can be hosed off so hopefully you're good.

just chalk it up as a lesson and save the bars for after your done working on the garden .... and then when you get that xannnie urge to go play with your plants after you've popped a few ....don't ... just stare at em ...
and make sure you close the tent ;)
No more messing around in the grow room fucked up...I promise! Lol! The plant looks great besides the part that it is missing. There weren't any flowers on the plant yet, so I don't think I need to worry about my shit being contaminated.

Time for an update w/ pics! They are looking pretty good so far. The Strawberry Blue looks the best in my opinion as far as vigor and plant stature goes. Not really much of a smell eminating from the plants as of right now which is a good thing imo. There is a slight deficiency on my Sour Diesel that I noticed starting on the bottom part of the plant. It looks like a Cal/Mag defiency to me. There are rusty colored spots on the leaves and some necrosis as well. I'm not to worried about it right now, but I will keep an eye on it. The other one's are just perfect right now. All 3 strains are about finished stretching and it was minimal. They are all about an inch difference in size too. The breeder's description of being meduim sized plants is right on the nose. I would guess that they are about 4' tall now.

The Sour D and Crazy Miss Hyde look about the same as far as plant structure goes. They are kind of spindly looking with thin branches that look like they will need support later on in flowering. They both have pretty small leaves on them too. I lollipopped all of them by cleaning all the branches off the bottom 1/3rd of the plant. The 400w light just doesn't penetrate that far down through the canopy of the plants from my experience.

The Strawberry Blue has nice thick branches that look like they can hold their own. So far it has the biggest bud formations on it too. It reminds me of the Pineapple Chunk pheno that I encountered some time ago. It is supposed to be a sativa dominant plant, but I think it has a more indica stature to it. I am totally bummed about losing a 1/3rd to a 1/2 of my plant from my accident. I cannot wait too see what this strain is all about.

The Chocolope is coming along nicely at about 12" tall. It hasn't been topped or anything. I'm letting it grow el natural! It has a fat ass main stem and the nodes are so close together. It makes a big difference in vegging under a HID light compared to some CFL's. I can really notice by the tight ass node spacing compared to the stretched out plants that vegged under the CFL's. I wish I had the room to have 2 400 watters, and I was able to have a few more plants, so I could continue with doing a perpetual grow having a harvest around every 2 months. Making my stash last 2 months is much easier for me than trying to manage it for 4 months. I guess I could do 2 plants flowering and 2 plants vegging, but I like to have the biggest selection of strains that I can, so I don't get burnt out on the same strain as fast as I would by smoking on that same strain constantly. Anyways, the Chocolope still isn't showing any signs of sex yet. I've never had a plant start on the 12/12 light cycle so early, so I have no idea what to expect. I should probably read some 12/12 from seed threads to get a better idea of what is going on with it.

Well here they are. Enjoy!

I'm already starting to get some trich action on my Sour D! That is a good sign. Popcorn size buds everywhere on all 3 plants. The Strawberry Blue has the biggest one's, and I think the Crazy Miss Hyde has the most budsites so far.

So here is what the breeder had to say about each one of these strains according to Attitude Seedbank:Rokerij Seeds Sour Diesel Feminized FLOWERING TIME 9 WEEKS SIZE MEDIUM PLANT YIELD UP TO 600 Gr./Sqm SATIVA/INDICA 60%-40% Genetics: nSour Sage Cross Effect: unique kind of smell and taste like a mix of sour skittles and fuel. Immediately after the first hit you feel your head start to become warm and fuzzy. Very energetic, uplifting high that comes with some serious munchies! World of Seeds Legend Collection Strawberry Blue is Pure Strawberry stabilized with male hybrid New Blue Line. Strawberry Blue cannabis seeds can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors. Strawberry Blue is 75% Sativa, 25% Indica. Harvest time for flowering is 9 weeks indoors and middle of October outdoors. Yield for Strawberry Blue is 50-450gr/m2 indoors and 350-500gr per plant outdoors. THC Level is 20%. Strawberry Blue medicinal value is high.. Samsara Seeds Crazy Miss Hyde is an excellent hybrid, a blend of two varieties distinguished by their fragrances, sweet and very penetrating nuances. The original belladonna, is a cross of Superskunk and an F1 hybrid male, very powerful. At the same time, the cross between a male Northern Light Afghani x Skunk # 1 x Haze, makes it a small plant that produces huge flowers with thick amber buds, filled with clusters of resin. The results in both indoors and outdoors grow are excellent. This variety emanates a unique and embracing aroma at the end of flowering period. Crazy Miss Hyde has a berry flavour with a slight acid touch and produces a very physical brain effect that could even be dangerous.DNA Genetics Chocolope Cannabis Seeds, which were originally named D-Line, are a novice grower's dream plant! With a uniquely heavy yield and large heavy nugs, the Chocolope is extremely easy to grow. This Sativa heavy plant likes to grow tall so beware if space is an issue, however she can grow out with a little training. We chose to cross our Original Chocolate Thai female with the Cannalope male, and then started backcrossing this to achieve a shorter flower time and still retain some of the Original Chocolate Thai qualities. What makes these Cannabis Seeds so special is that when you enjoy her you taste that chocolate you've been missing from the 80's! The DNA Genetics Chocolope is the "ONE"! Not much haze, but you don't need it.

I am truly impressed with how the Strawberry Blue looks. It is one of the most hearty plants that I have had the pleasure of growing so far. The buds are already starting to come together. They are much bigger than the other two strains that I have going. A small amount of trichs are starting to become visible around the buds on the sugar leaves. I'm sure that will change as time moves on. The other strains are looking good too, but they just don't have the swag of this Strawberry Blue. It just looks happier!

Well, my Chocolope has finally started to throw out some pistils. It is a feminized seed, so I am pretty sure that it is a female. I topped it once about a week ago. It is about 15" tall now. I'm having some issues with my Sour D. Some kind of defiency is going on here. It started at the bottom of the plant and has been slowly working its way upwards. There are black dots on the leaves. Along with some necrosis. They start to yellow and then fall off or just shrivel up. I'm feeding with Botanicare nutes. I'm giving it 1 tsp of Cal/Mag and 1 tsp of Power Flower to a canister of water. The other plants are flawless. It is just my Sour Diesel that I am having issues with. I will post some close up pics to get everyone's opinion on the matter.

So I went and rubbed my fingers on the new bud sites on my Strawberry Blue and OMG! It is just dank! It reminds me of candy, but very pungent candy. It brought a big ass smile to my face when I smelled it. I did the same thing to the Sour Diesel and it definitely has that sweet n sour smell to it. This could very well be one of my favorite grows so far. I can't wait to see the fruits of my labor.

when was your last flush??? you're in soil if i remember correctly? .... google cannabis plant problem chart... it'll give you a good idea of what's going on there. But maybe you need a good flush .... as good as the botanicare is ... all synthetic nutes are salts ..and build up easily especially in the right medium ... could be locked out or u may have a def of some sort and have to up the dosage.here ya go http://www.weedfarmer.com/cannabis/tables_guide.phsounds like you're locked out IMO... but either way ...i say ..AND THIS IS JUST ME.... give a a good flush .. then in the final run hit it with some nutes a 1/4 to 1/3 of a dose ... but flush that girl good and watch your humidity levels ........i'm sure you know what you're doing..

Just wanted to give an update with some pics of my grow today. The Chocolope has continued to throw out some more pistils, so I am excited to see that I have another female of a strain that I am stoked to try. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning...all giddy and shit! Lol! Here are a couple pics of the Chocolope:

IMG_0793.jpg IMG_0795.jpg

I can't say enough about this Strawberry Blue. It is just beautiful looking and the smell is just amazing. I really wasn't expecting such an interesting smell, but I am hooked. It has caught my attention like no other strain that I have grown. It has a really strong smell when you rub the resin on the sugar leaves. I am kicking myself in the ass for breaking part of this plant off the other day. Even more so now after I got to smell this lady. Here are a couple pics of the Strawberry Blue:

IMG_0787.jpg IMG_0788.jpg

The Crazy Miss Hyde is coming along nicely. It looks like it is going to yield more than any of the other strains that I am running at the moment. The buds are still small, but there are so many of them. The plant is just really nice looking. There is some trich action going on and around the buds on the sugar leaves. It has a slight fruity smell when you rub the resin, but is isn't overly strong. I'm probably going to move the plants around, so they all get a chance to get in the sweet spot of the light in my closet. I usually get a strain that ends up being super dense while the others are a little more airy. It's never so airy that it impairs the quality or anything though. I just figured that rotating the plants will help to reduce the chance of that happening. Anyways here are a couple pics of the Crazy Miss Hyde:

IMG_0791.jpg IMG_0792.jpg

Last but not least is the Sour Diesel. I was leary to start with on this strain because of the cheap price of all the strains from this breeder. It is from the breeder called Rokerji. I think that is how you spell it. Anyways these seeds were extremely cheap, so I figured what the hell and bought them. This strain just hasn't grown all that well from the start. It just seemed kind of weak in its growth. Just not a whole lot of vigor. Although the bud sites are looking quite well. There is quite a bit of trich action going on and around the buds. The smell is nice. It is sweet and sour smelling. I absolutely loved the strain Sour Diesel when I bought a bag a couple years back. It was extremely stinky and just took my breath away after I hit it and choked me up bad. I got a very warm feeling in my head and just got this nice and energetic buzz instantly. It had to be one of the best tasting strains that I have ever encountered with a wonderful buzz to match. I mean everything about this strain was just perfect. I don't know if this will turn anything out like that, but that is my hope. Mine doesn't have that distinct diesel smell to it yet, but that may change as time moves on. Like I said in my pervious post, I have been having some issues with my Sour Diesel. It has some kind of deficiency going on. It started at the bottom of the plant and has been working its way upwards. The leaves have these brown and black spots on them and the leaves have some necrosis as well. Then the leaves yellow and either drop off or shrivel up. Here is a couple pics of the Sour Diesel and a pic of the sick leaf. Any help would be appreciated.

That is it for this weeks update. Hopefully things keep on moving along nicely. Everyone feel free to chime in with any thoughts or questions.

Yeah I am growing in some regular old miracle grow soil. I haven't flushed it yet, but I will give it a try. As far as my humidity levels go, they always stay around 15%-20%. Pretty low in my opinion, but it hasn't affected my grows in a negative way that I can tell. Right about now is the usual problem time for most plants in my experience anyways. Right after I throw them into flower is usually when I start to see deficiencies if I am going to see them at all. This is the first plant that I have had a deficiency in since I started using Botanicare nutes though. Hopefully all I need is a good flush. I'm sure I will get it worked out eventually. Lol! As far as knowing what I am doing...I guess I do. I have quite a bit of experience now, so that helps alot more than anything. But if I need help with something, I can usually just look in this book I have for the answer. If I am still having trouble, then I can get the answer from my friends here at RIU.

Right now, I have a Sour Diesel growing in my closet. I have 2 Indica's and 1 Sativa (Sour Diesel). I turned the plants over to 12/12, 20 days ago. The SD was 17" tall before going to flower, and now she's a whopping 5 feet! She is healthy and strong and taking the longest to flower, but lots of bud activity going on now. I'm expecting about a 8-12 week cycle on flowering for the SD, maybe longer.

What breeder is your Sour Diesel from, or is it a clone from a dispensary? Sounds like you had a stretchy plant, but you should be through the worst of it by now.

I decided to go ahead and splurge on a pack of seeds from the Attitude. I ended up getting a 10 pk of Regular seeds called Purple Berry BXII by Cannaventure, and I got a 5 pk called Mother's Mix for free by Cannaventure as part of a promo. I also got a Feminized G13 Blue OG and another Feminized seed by CH9 called Jack. I actually have a freebie of Jack already, but I haven't ever popped it. Anyways this Purple Berry is a DJ Short Blueberry that has been worked to bring out the purple color and strawberry smell and flavor according to Cannaventure. I thought it sounded interesting, so I figured I would give it a go. I'm going to try a couple on my next run as long as I get them in the mail. As you all can tell, I am on a strwberry kick. This is supposed to be a mainly indica plant, and I don't have many of those. I don't really care about it turning purple, but I guess it would be nice. I heard that the Mother's Mix has some nice strains in it as well. This is my Christmas present to myself. Lol!

He is a friend from Northern California. I'm waiting for a call back on the exact strain. Yeah, she's REAL stretchy!!!!! The flowers have really took off the last couple of days, and it seems she's done reaching for the sky!

Well, I'm pretty bummed out today. I am about to smoke my last joint from my last harvest. It is always depressing running out of weed. Lol! I guess I am just going to try and quit until my next harvest. That's just a little over a month away. It is going to be tough for the first week but after that I am sure I will be just fine. I don't know about everyone else, but I have a hard time going without weed. I get so damn aggitated at everything and everyone for the first week. After that I am alright though. A little break will do my tolerance some good too.

The Strawberry Blue is just looking great and smelling even better. The buds are really starting to come together and form colas. There is some trich action going on, but it isn't the frostiest plant I have ever seen. This strain just has a nice structure to it. And the smell is just awesome. It does remind me of strawberries but is kind of like a sweet pungent candy. For some reason it kind of reminds me of a slight diesel smell mixed in there. All I know is that I really really like it! I just can't stop smelling this damn plant. I have to smell it several times a day. I am glad that I have a couple more seeds of this strain for the future, because I can already tell that it is going to be some funk.

The Crazy Miss Hyde is growing alot slower in the bud formation department. It has really long pistils on it giving it that hairy appearance right now. The leaves are this dark green almost blue color with some golden colored trich action. It looks good, but I don't think it is up to the Strawberry Blue levels. This is just my opinion though as of right now. A whole lot can change between now and harvest time. It does have a somewhat berry smell to it. That are a shit load of bud sites on this plant though. It will probably be my highest yielder.

The Sour Diesel still looks like shit overall. I flushed the shit out of this plant the other day. I can't tell if it helped yet or not. The buds are starting to come together, and they are kind of hairy looking but not as much as the Crazy Miss Hyde. The leaves are this neon green color. At least the one's that are still healthy are. It has some trich action going on too. It has a nice sweet and sour smell to it. Not as strong as I was hoping for though. The truth of the matter is that I just hope I can keep this plant alive until harvest time. I'm not expecting much from this one. It has grown like shit from the get go. Just not much vigor to this one at all.

The Chocolope seems like it is slow getting started on the flowering train. Maybe its just me because I looking at it compared to the other strains. It looks nice and healthy though. No deficiencies at all. There isn't much to talk about on this strain just yet, but I am excited to say the least about this strain. I am hoping that it is going to be something else that I would want to grow again. That's all that I want from my genetics. So far I have gotten pretty lucky, because I have been fortunate enough to grow sevaral strains that I actually want to grow again.

The overall smell of the grow is still pretty minimal. I do have a carbon filter, but it is an external one that probably doesn't work as well as the one's that most people are accustomed to seeing. It does work some though. I didn't want to cut holes in my walls for an exhaust fan, so I opted for the external carbon filter. Anyways I can't smell it outside of the grow room at all right now. That will probably change as I get closer to harvest. Overall I am satisfied with this grow so far. I am anxious to see what is to come. I will post pics in a couple more days.

Alright the plants are really starting to stink. The smell is slowly starting to smell outside of the grow room. My whole house doesn't stink or anything though. Just when you stand in front of the grow room door, or when you walk in the grow room. The Crazy Miss Hyde is really startring to come along nicely. It has alot of trichs going on. For some reason they look like they are a golden dust on the plant. It is extremely sticky to the touch. That is always a very positive sign. It still looks to be behind the other strains in the bud growth department though.
