why close a thread though??

If the people want to talk let them talk damnit!!!

And when someone truly feels offended they will report the user (there is a button) and then action should be taken,, which should be that the user be banned for a determined value or indefinitely.

Closing threads is just another example of censorship.

Once again i have to agree with the mod here... =]

Do not be explicit or vulgar and your thread will not get closed... You can still have an intelligent discussion about sexuality without it... =]

I am just glad that they do not delete posts as sometimes there is good information mixed in with the p***y and d**k and other crass talk... =P

Just take garden knowms lead and use nonchalant references like poon... =P


And FDD i say let them argue on... In most cases it makes people feel better if they can complain about a situation even if it wont change anything... =]

it was "vulgar". how hard is that to understand? is this thread vulgar or are people just trying to use this as a chance to prove i'm a nazi? read the rules again. really slow this time. you agreed to them. we can do this forever. the thread is gone. if i see threads that i feel are vulgar i will close them. i was given this position because someone important here trusts my judgement. when they make you a mod you can reopen them. :)

I guess everyone has their own opinion of what the standard is for vulgar. Yours is a lot higher than others. No one (at least i'm not) is saying you are a nazi.

i calmed, down, were just gonna egg it (but if i have some empty glass bottles, spare gas, and a rag i'ma put it all together

i don't usually do vandalism

so any idea on laws it's also in te nice part of town so police reaction i'm guessin is gonna be pretty damn good

anyone got experiance with vandalism?

Yup. Once when I was a teenager, me, my younger brothers and a friend of ours all had Saturday school (work detail) for getting in trouble in school. So, we got up at 4am, walked to the local convenience store and stole a bottle of Sisco, drank it and got semi-drunk, walked to school and instead of reporting to the work detail program, we broke into the school and vandalized the shit out of some classrooms. We then went to the other side of school campus and reported to work detail.

Dude, don't burn somebodys house down. I know she slurred you but be the better person and let it go. You can't go around kicking the ass of every small minded person, there just isn't enough time in the day. You would be absolutly exhausted.

Maybe some toilet paper and soap but it's not worth it to risk jail over it.

What I think that alot of you are forgetting, or may not even know, is that many forum hosts/providers such as ProBoards and Hyperboards (I use them as an example because their format most closely resembles the structure of RIU) Will not tolerate an obscene amount of vulgarity, or if they do, they will assume no liability/responsibility, and will displace any and all claims upon the account holder of the forum. This means that if someone were to stumble across one of these posts via google (which, ironically enough, that's how I found this forum) or any other medium and was to be offended by such posts and content, all complaints would then be directed towards the admin. If enough complaints are filed, or go unanswered, people may actually petition to have the forum closed. I don't know about you but I definitely wouldn't want to see years of work and thousands of posts just go to waste. I'm sure there's more to it then that, I could be wrong. Just what I think.


EDIT - THIS REPLY IS IN RESPONSE TO THE CLOSED THREADS TOPIC. I DIDN'T REALIZE HOW FAR THE THREAD WENT AND MY REPLY MAY SEEM OUT OF PLACE. JUST REFER TO THE FIRST PAGE OF THE THREAD SORRY.
