On the right track but i really wounld recommend spraying the leaves just the dome for the hummidity. no need for it to grow roots if its getting nuts from the leaves. thats way they stayed healthy but wouldnt grow roots.

Dome, CloneX gel, RapidRooter, water with an 1/8 tsp SuperThrive in a gallon. A trick I just learned is a cup of water with an airstone bubbling in the dome. It gives air and humidity. Little CFL over the dome. 100% success now. I use a heat mat too. Got the kit for the price of a pad. Use good quality stems to clone.

They get their water from the air as they have no roots. Lots of humidity at first.

make sure to cut the clones at a 45 degree angle. then peel off the bottom inch of the skin with your razor. heat mat and humidity dome. not too hot on the mat though. 85 is fine.

I cut clone off, no gel no peeling and placed it straight into fox farm ocean forest. then under a dome it went. What do you know? I have roots and it is now in a solo cup ;)

Hope its not to much -lol- thought this might help.

How I clone: By YEP

1. Clean everything
2. Clean again
lol

As soon as I cut my lady I get her into a cup of water for 15 to 30 minutes.

I set up a bowl of water and use that to cut the leaves and prep the stem.

I try to make all cuts and keep as many cut sites under water.

then I scrap one side of the stem about 1/2" long (only the first layer) for root growth and make my final slant bottom cut.

double dip in rooting powder
straight into cube
trim fan leaves
Spray with water and a cup on top as dome
I like them on my Light fixture for the first couple days. Nice and warm and some light.

3 to 7 days later you will see root. Fingers crossed...

Worked every time on over 25 clones I needed.

lots of mediums for clones, i like peat pellets or rockwool(pH altering may be necessary for the rockwool, simply soak it in low pH water, id do 5.0 since they have a high pH). make sure the soil is damp but not wet when you touch it, it should be just wet enough to still be dark colored i guess you could say. get cloning gel or powder, a dome, and a light. a cfl would be good, i use fluorescents. i also use translucent storage bins as my domes. after i soak my clones in diluted superthrive, about 1 drop for 3 gallons, i let them sit in there for about 2 minutes or so. then dip the stems in the hormone, try to cut the clones at an angle, 45 degree is suggested. after putting them into the medium, stick em in the dome. i give them a foliar feed with the diluted superthrive, but only once since you want them to stop using their leaves as their source for taking up nutrients. after about 7 days, check the holes on the pots. if roots are emerging, they're ready to transplant. if you wanna put them outdoors, you should keep them in the shade for a day or two and watch closely how they respond to the light, it should show if its ok with the change withing 10-15 minutes, if they curl up then back to the shade.

I've found that dip n grow works better than clonex. I ran a side by side test and dip n grow had better root development and I've use many gels from replicator,Olivia's, Juicy roots to mx clone gel. As for soaking rockwool 1-1/2" cubes for an hour, I only let them soak 10 seconds as per the instructions on the package. You don't want water logged cubes, it takes longer to root. I've got to take another 90 clones tonight. I also have a 70 site power cloner but like rockwool cubes way better. It takes me 7-10 days for roots in cubes as well as in the cloning machine only thing with the cloner you really have to sterilize it really good between uses or the cuts won't root.
