I disagree for these reasons,if a presidential candidate is a religious person voters have the right to know,and the candidate is obligated to show or explain their religious convictions.
American politicians are under no obligation to disavow their religious beliefs because some find religion offensive,asking for politicians to give up their faith = oppression ,persecution & bigotry of the highest order IMO .

Faith requires belief without proof. How does somebody explain their religious convictions to another holding different beliefs or a person with a secular understanding of the world? Based on history, what somebody says about their faith is a terrible predictor of what they will do. Contrast Jimmy Carter with Reagan. Carter lived his religion, advised people to put a sweater on when the house seemed cold in order to conserve energy -- good advice given our current problems with climate change -- and was pretty much reviled. Reagan spoke with rosy words but was hardly Christian in his actions to people in need, also a terrible steward for the environment. Both proclaimed Christianity.
Leave religion out of the discussion. Judge our leaders by their actions. Lacking a record, judge them by their past deeds and words. Maybe Reagan wouldn't have been so beloved if people did that.
What specific "corrupt" acts has Clinton done by the way? I mean real ones that pass fact checking, not truthy ones repeated by right wingers but aren't actually true.. By his actions -- all verifiable -- it's pretty clear that Trump is a fraud and a huckster. See what I mean by judging leaders by their actions?

NAMBLA, in the US, is an association of men that think sex with boys is OK. Do they speak for all men in the US? This isn't a religious issue at all, it is a social issue.
