Do you think this kind of stuff should really be taking place in a presidential election in 2016?
the exact "stuff" you question now took place in 2008 & 2012 with the Obamas & bidens.

Trump praying is no different than Obama kneeling on a rug to pray ,or praying to a christian god,,seems nobody cared about religious conviction in 2008 but now its an issue .

to me religion is a personal choice exactly like ones sexual preference, its irrelevant unless it causes harm to others .

And just think, these very same right wingers would be more than happy to suspend the civil rights of witches so as to burn them at the stake all legal like.
Hmmmm if the belief in Jesus Christ causes madness as you claim how come there were no claims of " witchcraft" at any of the dozens of times we've watched Obama pray to a christian god,as well as kicking off his shoes & kneeling on prayer rugs to pray to Allah .

So you think we should get rid of black churches or not allow presidential candidates to visit them?

What's wrong with a black church praying for God to guide him and keep him safe?
Just for openers, 'separation of church and state'.

Next comes the fact that we live in an age of reason, not superstitions and magick rituals.

Well, most of us anyway...

Nice taking it out of context there, silly.

You know he was referring to the Muslim religion's long history of encouraging peace, right?
False. Shariah law is not peaceful and countries that use it treat Christians, womens, and gays like shit.

Its the law and acceptable to kill blasphemers, gays, and adulturers over there.

You are a uninformed.

Separation of church and state means you cannot stop people from worshiping or force them to worship only one way.

It's why the pilgrims left England. It was then against the law to blaspheme or worship in non state approved ways.
