Hey people, I have a question concerning cfl growing. I plan on using CFLs for the entire grow period(VEG/FLOWERING) and i was wondering if for the veg period i should use a combination of cool and warm white bulbs and than when i get to the flowering stage just switch to all warm white. A response would be nice.:hump::hump::spew:

I would suggest using the cool and warm for vegging and during flowering just add a few more warm cfls. You could switch them all for warm bulbs but I'm not sure if it would be worth it.

for vegging I use two daylight to one warm white, and during flowering I used to use two warm to one daylight. Now I use a hps.

yea true what jdub said for veg you should be fine but for flower it would be a waste with only cfls during the flowering period try to get a 250 watt hps light if possible it would be much better.....how many plants u got dude?

For my 2/3 plants. Vegging I use four 23w 5000k and four 23w 2700k bulbs. For flowering I use one 23w 5000k and seven 40w 2700k bulbs with good results. All cfl.
