CFL - First Grow - Closet

Keeping an eye on your grow man; plants look similar in density to mine. Good luck and keep it up. When do you plan on flowering?

Mine have grown a bit since you last seen them .. Umm as far as flowering I plan to within a few weeks because I dont need much at all... Just more-so a trial run. I will be posting pics soon. and any feedback or comments are welcome.

I just took these pics. And I need to transplant them asap and im working on that. Having my car fixed so I can get 2 more buckets and 4 more bags of soil..

This will be an experimental grow. I will also be trying to do a stealth grow using rubber maids. one veg .. one flower and 1 clone. asumming that 1 rubber maid for each should possibly work possibly 2 for the flowering depending on how big they get for a SoG stealth using only cfl's.. And I am already planing that out little by little so I can do it cheaply. As well as posting plants on how I plan to do it.

It looked so healthy.

im using cfl's too. when u start flowering. get all cool white or what ever the orangish ones are. and jsut remember when u flower your plants can get up to 3 times the size.

I know about the size issue and what cfls to use to flower.. my healthy plant either outgrew the pot or i overwatered it alot.. =/

Question.. My plant is about 5 inches tall. it looks like (hard to see the nodes are REALLY tight together) that there are 7 nodes about including new ones growing as we speak at the top. Tomorrow will be wk 3 of veg.. how much longer should I wait before going to 12/12? Will be posting pics when my laptop reboots after cracking this freakin WEP key so I can get back online... lol

I'm close to you, week 4 for me, and my nodes are very tightly spaced. My advice is wait for another 3 weeks, and in the meantime take a few clones and flower them to see the sex of your plant, and possibly to increase your overall yield by a lot.

well for cloning and sexing .. i have no seperate room (yet) will be building one soon.. to flower under just for that.. uhm.. as for the waiting 3 weeks.. is this for a full size grow or more of a SoG grow? because i know you should wait untill about 10 inches but looking at other people.. there 5 inches makes my plant look like 50 inches tall.. if you compare the nod spacing to mine and if mine were spaced out that much with how many nodes i have.. xD

I was saying 6 weeks is the earliest you should flower to expect good results, either that or when your plant is at least 12 inches.

This first grow is a trial grow.. after this grow i wil lnot be using my closet like it is and ill be using rubber maids.. (easier to section off for SoG growing).. as for good results.. is flowering at 8-10 acceptable? this grow has tought me alot about plants that i did not know and it looks like i may be getting the hang of it.

Correct me if im wronge. I have 1 female and 2 males? I shoke the one and this dust like shit came off it so im 100% sure thats male and that none of them are hermies. Because I see no female like symptoms..

Already did.. Hopefully they didnt pollenate the femals tho. How long do you think I have? they looked liek that for like a week.. o.o and the one thats budding has looked like that maybe 2 days.. lol and looking forward to harvest.. when should i expect?

In my first grow I flowered my plants at 7 inches and they didnt even get to be a foot tall when finished. I only had two plants an havested 13 grams from them in total.

In my current grow I am still vegging my plant and they are showing preflowers So far I only have 2 confirmed females and One more I think will be female. I will be vegging them till at least 14 inches this time. I was only using flouresents last time 6 3 foot High output T5 linear tubes. In my current gorw I am using those t5's plus a 150 watt hps.
That is my experience and I lerned alot from it, Hope iut helps man. Happy gowing

p.s get those boy outta there. lets hope they didnt pollinate to heavy. and if so then you will lots of seed for next time but the bud will be kinda bunk

Hoping they didn't ruin my girl.. lol and wow u can flower at 7 inches? for 13 grams.. uhhm its like 3 grams a dime or something over here so thats like $40-50.. lol im hoping for closer to an ounce.. think I will yeild that much?

I bet you would no prob! if you get some more cfls around the sides of the plant it will make it bulk up

It has 7 23w (100w equiv veg) cfl's and 3 26w cfls (150w equiv flower).. so the lights arnt the best tho. lol
