If your goal is to get high...why would you smoke a cbd rich strain?
Good point. lol, But they had just came out figured I had to try it, plus my momma always told me to try everything at least once. :bigjoint:But actually my mom has MS and I was seeing if CBD would be better but she likes the good weed better and I had to try it myself it smelled too good to not try, it looked dank as hell and all.

My momma told me the same but I still dont plan on skydiving, doing heroin or sucking dick lol
I have some cbd crew strains and Im just turning the works into RSO. I will put it away for a rainy day that hopefully never comes. Tasty cherry flavour is a trait of high cbd but it does nothing for me if I smoke it. Edibles are the best way imo and only if you are in some type of pain
Give me some OG or chemdog any day
Anyone else have the same experience smoking cbd?

I've also grown and smoked both Cannatonic and sweet and sour widow and must concur having MS as well I prefer a good old high THC hybrid.... The Cbd strains mixed with other smoke
Provided a good balanced high on their own they were not much different than a majority of the autos I've grow(which have been many)
I have like 5 or 6 more cbd crew strains to try got some ac/dc x good medicine (bodhi) a few of the Barney farms Cbd strains and a bunch of the z6 project by mr nice.... I think its just finding a keeper and one that works best for you....

I like taking dabs of high cbd oil, it is a mellow relaxation that doesn't get you lethargic but releases me from aches in my muscles and my jaw. What I would like to do is get a high cbd cut and a high thc cut that both have nice resin heads and make some combination platter. I wouldn't mind a nice 40% cbd 45% thc or something.

I'm gonna be trying Red Rhino, Charlotte's Web, Harlequin and cherry Kush at my local collective. I'm really excited to see how it will affect my anxiety as I cant smoke regular THC strains without my heart rate going up and panicking.

me too man...it blows goats, but I still smoke the high thc/sativa/hybrid strains anyways. Nothing some Ativan can't help. Nothing will prevent my smoking journey!!

Update on the high cbd strains I got. Harlequin and Charlotte's web both completely got rid of my anxiety any they taste amazing in the vaporizer. I like Charlotte's web for nighttime and harlequin to be more social.

i Have a Ac/dc mother, really great strain! also some harlequin and cannatsu, :bigjoint:bongsmilie
Lucky you! I talked to the bud tender at the collective and he said high cbd strains are harder to grow is that true? Maybe he just meant hard to breed.

I have found that to be true. High CBD strains, for whatever reason, seem to require more oxygen to the root zone than a typical plant. I've grown a few different ones, and all of them struggled in my organic soil. I recently went out and bought all of the gear for a DWC setup and my Cannatonic 4 is absolutely loving it. It's 3 times the size of any high CBD plant I've ever grown in soil.

Yes, AC/DC is the hardest one for me to grow, but yes in general High CBD strains are harder to keep alive. I have yet to try them in dwc but from the sounds of it from st0wan, I should give them a try in my DWC! :bigjoint:

I bet an airpot would be nice for high CBD strains then since it has so many holes.

That will help. Adding a higher percentage of aeration bits to your medium will help too. I'm running one right now in a 50/50 mix of coco coir and rice hulls, and it's looking good.

I have been growing some CBD Shark Shock from CBD Crew, by itself it is a very mellow stone. When growing she smells like an orange creamsicle with a hint of strawberry, while curing she starts to get more stinky and pungent.

I am not sure what you guys are talking about when it comes to keeping a high CBD plant alive, I had 0 problems with harlequin. They even get chopped between week 7-9 so it is really hard for me to picture someone royally scewing them up. Try tapering back on the nutrients and letting them show you their genetics.

I never noticed a difference in the difficulty of growing. I have done a few cbd strains and just put them in my regular system and they did great. 1/3 perlite 2/3 ocean forest fed botanicare PBP, 10g smart pots, sealed rooms with ac, co2, dehums, etc.
