FG... its just another glaring lack of touch with reality and elitism of the republicans.. people are loosing homes over 1/2 of the cash it took to dress up the pig...$22,000 for a make up artist... come on.. I'm sure she didn't shop herself,
(thats for the underlings, please), but she sure as shit doesn't strike me as the sort to wear anything she doesn't approve of.. au contraire.... she probably sent them back to get the good stuff..She said she's going to give them to charity after..ever see the Seinfeld episode with the puffy shirt the bum wears at the end.........

Yeah.... I'm betting Barack and Michele didn't buy any new clothes for the campaign.... paid for with campaign contributions

Please stop acting like it was her idea.... it was that of those running the campaign. They probably hired some HIGH DOLLAR "image consultant" who told them she needed new clothes... from there it was a hop... skip .... and jump onto the media bandwagon... pitchforks and torches in hand to GET HER over her new wardrobe.

The clothes are IRRELEVANT in this campaign. Now her statement about "small towns being more pro-American then others...." LOL... well I'd say that is worth beating her over the head with a club a few times for ;)

Yes, her makeup artist costs almost what I owe on my house. Doesn't seem like someone who's makeup costs the same as a brand new car sees my point of view.

Yes I live in a small town, yes I'm feeling anti-American, yes I'm sick of being dicked by politicians. I say we kill them all, regardless of party or affiliation.

They've created themselves a virtual reality world where they create problems, work for themselves, enemies..etc just to keep themselves in a good paying job... Democracy is a one day every 4 years thing, the rest of the time your opinion is worthless, and even more distressing.... not wanted..
I'll buy the bullets.......

What do you think of this "North American Union" Twisty? Does it scare the hell out of you too?
You mean the United States of South America... I don't get the free trade, damn our own... It's like here, we're the 2nd biggest oil producers in the world.. next only to the Saudi's.. but because of a capitalistic mentality we sell our oil on world markets and end up paying $5.10 ( at the high this year) a gallon when places like Venezuela sell it at 0.19 a gallon..... I'm from the take care of your own 1st, then sell leftovers mindset.. god forbid those poor oil companies go without $$$$'s.......

Everything has become "screw as many people as you can to get what you want".

The oil cartel is pissed about the price of oil falling, now they want to cut production to get the price back up. I know we cut out all recreational driving, so has everyone else we know.

What really pisses me off is that when the price was $145.00 a barrel, it was $1.45 here.. $128.00 a bar.... $1.28 a liter here..thats when it goes up..or 1% of barrel cost... Now its about $70.00 a barrel and the price here is still $1.05 a liter, or about$3.60 a gal... Now thats bullshit..

i read in A Critical Path - Buck Fullers last book, a calculation about how much sunlight it takes to make petroleum compared to sunlight used with solar panels at 6 cents a kWh and a gallon came out to about 10 million dollars, so a few bucks a gallon is still a pretty good deal i think

Here’s the problem with Sarah Palin’s GOP-shopping spree: she’s constantly telling the public how she’s just like them, a regular working class “Jane Six-Pack” who knows what their lives are like. Now, how many working class people have $150,000 to throw around on clothes and Maybelline?
That’s the kind of money most of us could only spend if we were buying a house — and then taking 30 years to pay it off. She’s nothing like you and me. You can’t bill the state to fly our kids around for free; I sure can’t. The problem is hypocrisy. If she wants to be an “Uptown Girl,” fine. But she needs to stop saying she’s one of us............

Whats more insulting is that she said they were going to donate them..this is a good example of not knowing the real value of that money..to spend $150,000 only to basically throw the money away when it could have been donated to a food bank or something that would help people, is wrong who ever does it... this isn't an us or them thing..its a right and wrong issue.....:wall:

there was an article in my local paper this morning where mccain said 1/3 of the clothing had already been returned...but once you read further, you find they were returned because they were the wrong size.....
