Looking to find a job in the field. Unfortunately nothing here where I live. Can't move unless I have the job. So, any advice on what I could do to try to get a job in this lovely field :)?
P.s. I'm in the states.

I just did a Google search (not calling you too lazy to use Google) and Indeed showed up with thousands of jobs.
Right, but most are either fake or a waste of time.. I'm wanting a more legitimate way. I'm kind of in the dark considering my state thinks weed is the devil. I've googled, sent emails made phone calls. Just want a more concrete way.

Give up trying to be a grower. It's an over saturated market. Everyone, including their Grandmaw, is a grower. You should have started this about 5 years ago. Your best bet is to move to a State that JUST legalized it and try to get your foot in the door there. Have plenty. and I mean PLENTY of starting out capital.

Canadian universities are now offering both degrees in growing and the buisness/legal fields. I know, not much help if your in the states but a few offer online courses I believe. It's a start lol. It's just starting here :).

Or I'll get a call asking to work at a dispensary... I'm trying to grow!!
Get a hort degree with a minor in business management. Unless you already have significant verifiable experience you're not getting anywhere near a high paying growing job sight unseen.

Your safest bet is probably starting off in a dispensary or at whatever entry level position you can get. I've seen plenty of commercial grows around here hiring that didn't require experience but you're up against a lot of competition.

Grow for yourself and your friends and go get a real job to gain income. There's not much upside to being a legal grower but if you could say design horticulture lighting or invent a product that growers need then you got something you can make a career out of. More people got rich during the gold rush selling shovels and whiskey than those looking for gold.
