Can i use a 150 watt hps light for flowering??

I have a 1000 watt metal halide setup. Gonna trade for 150 watt hps if it will work. I am doing a cabinet grow, 6 plants.

it will work just not for 6 plants I wouldn't do anymore than 2 under it 1 would be better

Don't even do that. You can grow out all the way under metal halide. A 150-watt HPS will cover one short auto - maybe.

Not with any decent results. That's like a 18"x18" area a 150w would cover.

Use your MH. 1000 watts of MH are "at least" 5 times as good as 150 watts of HPS.

im currently using a 150HPS im my scrog

i cant afford to rum my 100 watter!!! that why trade. i have another guy gonna trade a 250. so imma wait on that

then sell the 1000W on ebay and get a 400w or 600w with the money? i would never swap a 1000W for anything less than 600w

ok. i can either trade for 2 adjustable mh/hps ballasts, or a 400 watt hps light, bulb, ballast.... what to do, what to do?? i mean i got my mh setup for free, so whatever will work will work

id go for the 400W over a 150W 250W anyday
