A public option is a good thing, however the MAJORITY of America is satisfied with private health care and WOULD NOT switch over to the public option.
If the majority of americans want to overpay for their health care, let them! Anyone with half a brain would choose the LESS EXPENSIVE option. It's the same hospitals, same doctors, just a different (more affordable) insurance policy. The majority of Americans are stupid, so what they want is of little concern to those of us with common sense.

What you fail to realize is that people who are already covered by a private plan wouldn't be eligible for the public option, anyway. If you've been following the reform bill, you'd know this. So, another made up "fact" doesn't further your argument.

I see a youtube clip coming.

Seriously you guys are regurgitating old bs about this healthcare bill that has been rebuked. What you are saying is false.

Medical professionals are all for health care reform. They benefit from people having insurance. The hospitals stay private.

Guess what, if you have a business, and rely on clients to buy your service, is it better to have more people with the means to purchase your service, or less?

This has nothing to do with it. It's just really sad that's the only claim you see them making.
Nope, you made a bullshit claim and you're being called on it, simple as that. Until you admit you make stuff up out of thin air you will continue to be called on it.

See what you dont get is there are actually peoples lives that depend on this, by you continually spreading lies one must wonder your agenda. Are you just a hateful person that likes to see others suffer?

Your making the claim you FUCKING IDIOT!
No, im just pointing out how many democrats in congress are being immature little babies and STILL COMPLAINING about Wilsons outburst during the presidents speech.

Um, again, NO. You weren't pointing out anything about Congress. You were claiming that 45% of doctors were going to QUIT their practices if the public option was passed.

You got called out, just admit it.

Where did you possibly get that from?

I'm a hateful person and want to see other suffers. You have no evidence to back that up.

I believe in the individual. If you can't make your own ends meat, then you're fucked.

In this world there is only one thing you can count on, only ONE thing which you have 100% control, and that is YOURSELF.

ALMOST HALF OF ALL DOCTORS PRACTICING IN THE COUNTRY RIGHT NOW WOULD QUIT (or at least think about quitting) IF OBAMACARE BECOMES A REALITY.

Classic. Here is a description of this blog;

This blog is about my opinions and world view. I am a conservative, evangelical Christian. Generally speaking, if you post a comment, I'll allow you to express your view. However, if you say something hateful, untruthful, or just generally something I don't like, I may remove it.
Here is another take it or leave it article on this poll:http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/2009/09/ibdtipp-doctors-poll-is-not-trustworthy.html
1. The survey was conducted by mail, which is unusual. The only other mail-based poll that I'm aware of is that conducted by the Columbus Dispatch, which was associated with an average error of about 7 percentage points -- the highest of any pollster that we tested.

2. At least one of the questions is blatantly biased: "Do you believe the government can cover 47 million more people and it will cost less money and th quality of care will be better?". Holy run-on-sentence, Batman? A pollster who asks a question like this one is not intending to be objective.

3. As we learned during the Presidntial campaign -- when, among other things, they had John McCain winning the youth vote 74-22 -- the IBD/TIPP polling operation has literally no idea what they're doing. I mean, literally none. For example, I don't trust IBD/TIPP to have competently selected anything resembling a random panel, which is harder to do than you'd think.

4. They say, somewhat ambiguously: "Responses are still coming in." This is also highly unorthodox. Professional pollsters generally do not report results before the survey period is compete.

5. There is virtually no disclosure about methodology. For example, IBD doesn't bother to define the term "practicing physician", which could mean almost anything. Nor do they explain how their randomization procedure worked, provide the entire question battery, or anything like that.

My advice would be to completely ignore this poll. There are pollsters out there that have an agenda but are highly competent, and there are pollsters that are nonpartisan but not particularly skilled. Rarely, however, do you find the whole package: that special pollster which is both biased and inept. IBD/TIPP is one of the few exceptions.

to them, they are correct. are you ignorant to that. what the correct policy is is a matter of opinion.
No, correct policy is the one that works most efficiently. The CBO does the numbers and they don't lie.

Obama doesn't stop talking. Holy shit. hes averaging over 1 speech PER DAY since the inauguration.

He should spend more time working with the people he surrounds himself with and LESS time speaking about all the "work" they are doing for him.

Exactly. One has to wonder what the reaction would be from these nuts if Obama went in the other direction and wanted a for profit company to start running all the police departments, started charging everytime the cops were called and the private company made $10 billion a year.

So you're white and you think he looks black. So to you, he's black. Got it.

Called out by a bunch of extreme leftists, and then answered with two different websites that show those polls. One with a graph.

You provided the same type of evidence I did.

AGAIN, two DIFFERENT polls.

One on Obamacare - 65% doctor disapproval

AND

One on a public option - 62% doctor approval

THEY AREN'T THE SAME THING.

Great find, hannimal! I was just reading the IBD "article" (if you can call it that), and when I saw that the article says "responses are still coming in", I figured I could go ahead and dismiss the results. You can't publish an accurate poll result without all the responses!

It's also funny that they say there are over 800,000 doctors in the country - and they "polled" far less than a 1% sample and try and pass that off as accurate.

So you're white and you think he looks black. So to you, he's black. Got it.

OOOH A graph???? Well, if it has a GRAPH, it must be true, RIGHT?

Look... that "poll" is not accurate. There are two other polls that show numbers which closely align with one another, and then ONE poll with the numbers almost completely reversed.

Did you read the part about the IBD poll results "still coming in"? They published the poll before they even had all the responses! You can't honestly believe that's how a poll is conducted, can you?
