Cal-mag VS Epsom Salts?

Here are pics yellowing between the veins I compared it to other photos of magnesium deficiency online and they matched I have been able to rule out ph and environmental stress.


Nope 100% oxygen issues.. seen that 100000 times over... i assume you don't oxygenate your water?

see how that yellow is cycling all around the leaves cal deficiency does not do that.. it starts way differently..

the only other thing that resembles the yellow ring is too high of water ph... but your leaves would be curling also if the ph was too high

According to the Guaranteed Analysis, liquid karma contains no magnesium or sulfur. Molasses is not a potent contributor of mineral salts as it's used to feed the microbes.

Guaranteed Analysis:

  • Total Nitrogen (N): 0.1%, 0.1% Water Soluble Nitrogen
  • Available Phosphate (P2O5): 0.1%
  • Soluble Potash (K20): 0.5%

should have looked harder brother.
check the MSDS, its a clear as daylight.
I don't make it a habit to say things that I don't know to be factually correct.
All the love though man, I know you are just trying to help.
And even if that were true the molasses has both cal and mag in it...
and who cares about mineral salts??

Magnesium and sulfur are likely not listed on the guaranteed analysis because they are present in trace amounts. A trace amount of a secondary macro nutrient is not an adequate amount.

and who cares about mineral salts??
Um, this is the nutrient section so we all do.

Ok man, the molasses and liquid karma have calcium and magnesium in it already. The guano as well.
the first ingredient in liquid karma is dolomite lime.
So yeah the stuff he is feeding his plants have the two things that you think is the problem.
Molasses...
I have mentioned it in every response so far and somehow it's still ignored.
I don't think I can help any further.

When I feed them plain water no but the gueno tea I give them is bubbled 48 hours so it has plenty of oxygen so what should I do just start bubbling my water with airstones the day before I give it to them?

Um, this is the nutrient section so we all do.
regardless of what everynes saying its not magnesium or calcium.. my god... everyone need to truly take 2-3 years of plant biology before they chime in on here... i feel like theres nothing but bad replys.... I've see the exact issue over and over again..

well one more thing... is your PH ON POINT?? for sure your not too high?

if you know your ph is on point yes your should be oxygenating the water.. it happens all the time in indoor soil grows..

I'm sure my ph is on point I have checked the soil with a blue lab ph soil pen and tested my meter over and over again I'm anal about keeping it calibrated.
okay yeah so i would actually go get H202 from the grow store and supplement 1ML per five gallons

thats low enough to not kill beneficial bacteria and high enough to revert the depletion faster. just add the H202 to your plain waterings

i can't say how many times I've seen and had the same damn issue.. normally it happens more on LARGER plants that have a really strong root system basic oxygen levels aren't enough... regular water only carries .001% oxygen... fine for young plants not for mature.

please everyone chime in with incorrect stuff so we can screw this guy more...

EVEN IF it was ph it would be too SWEET and his leaves would be freaking CURLING!!!!!!! to acidic they have a tan flexible burn... MY GOD PEOPLE!!

not always a few points can lock out trace minerals .....

a few points where.. yeah if your at 7.2 or 5.5 in soil OBVIOUSLY your plants going to lock and stress.... your not going to run soil and run 6.3 instead of 6.5 with ANY lock out issues.. its not going to happen.. a few point matters when your running at the edge of your ph scale
